I feel like this is borrowing elements from the TV series, which if true, would make me happy. I say this because in the trailer, you can see Malcom talking to an AI. If it's Skynet, it'd be odd, but a twist. if it's another AI, it may be like John Henry AI from the tv series, an AI that will fight alongside mankind. @@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 It's because the first 2 were good?. 1 stood on it's own two legs, and 2 added to 1 and actually ended on a good note. You said in another comment that Salvation was your first foray into the franchise, but here you are taking big beef with og fans like myself, who actually grew up with the movies as they came out. I dunno man, I think it's your own personal bias that doesn't agree with others, but you need to assert it in a manner that comes off as non biased (when it always will be, that's how bias works). I loved T1-2, the TV series, the comics, some of the games. I wasn't a big fan of Salvation due to it's time placement (early Skynet war, well before phase 1 plasma weapons were introduced), and I wasn't a fan of T3 because it was basically T2, but on repeat. Same goes for Dark Fate, only gender swapping, and Genysis couldn't even decide wtf it wanted to be with the multi timeline theory. When you step back and really take a good long and hard look, we really haven't had anything good from the franchise that the public agreed unanimously on, not since the TV series, which was way back in 08, and tbh, that's a long ass time to get something good from an otherwise beloved IP.

@@pershop4950 Frodo? Musical? When did this happen? I command you to elaborate!
I gotta say, I think this looks pretty awesome.
Again, my first exposure to Terminator might've been Salvation even tho' I'm kinda fond of it unlike the Terminator fandom itself but I'll take this over Genisys,Dark Fate, and the Tomb Raider animated show anyday XD lol.
Same haha, I have the same love for Salvation that everyone else does with T1 and T2, for the simple fact Salvation was the one I grew up with and my first exposure to Terminator, but also its a decent little watch and miles better than the other sequels
@@joebond545 True, it's too bad however that the Terminator fandom that loves 1 & 2 so much is so judgemental lol.
@kinnikuman-devilman_fan_2002 I mean i get it, the jump in quality from T1 and T2 is massive considering how good they were
I'm an old T and T2 fan, and I thought Salvation was fine. As a hardcore "T2 is the greatest action movie ever" fan, I don't know why others in my generation thought it was so bad. Compared to the new movies it was a masterpiece.
@@HeavyMetalMike
Tell me about it, and you wanna know what the sad part is? I had to leave the Terminator franchise and had to focus on my other favorite franchises such as Transformers or maybe Peanuts (*Charlie Brown and Snoopy.) after watching this show even tho' I had no shame of liking it and feel unsure if I can ever think about Salvation again.
I know that that's low, even for me, but it was alot better than having all the other T1 and T2 diehards jump and bash me alot, just because I enjoyed Salvation and this show as my guilty pleasures, no offense by the way lol.
Terminator Zero looks really good! I like that it's telling a story with other characters. John Connor's story has already been told, so this is very cool. I'm fine with Skynet sending a
T-800 to the present and a Resistance soldier also being sent to the present as well. I'm looking forward to watching when it releases.
Love the Trailer Cut along with the choice of Song.
This is the best thing that happened to Terminator since T2, watched and loved it. Netflix, you got many cash cows, own on it and don't butcher it, please. This was fantastic, any series you take on, stay close to the material that is given and you are making money. Listen to fans and do what is right by them but also for your company.
Music was perfect. Explains everything.
Looks better then the last 3 terminator films combined
This looks like something you'd see on Toonami early 2000's
not enough to bring me back to Netflix
PLEASE NETFLIX WE NEED SEASON 2
This honestly looks promising. It’s been years since we had good Terminator content. Looking forward to this series.
This remix of "Disarm" fkin slaps! 🔥
Please don't suck. Please don't suck. Please don't suck.
What are you afraid of
"Judgement"
This line stroke me asf
We can't just let this franchise die, can we ?
Never expected pumpkins today be used for a terminator anime trailer
Pretty sure this franchise has said all it needs to, or was capable of, saying.
Terminator Zero without John Connor and Sarah Connor.
A breath of fresh air if you ask me, given how the franchise has been lately
@@DanDaMan23 eliminating John and partially Sarah from the equation is what's sent this franchise circling the drain.
Daring today, aren’t we?
What about Kyle Reese?!
John Connor? He dead.
at first I was skeptical but looking at this we might be in for a treat fr.
"Malcolm, what are you scared of?"
"Strong female character."
"Freedom for BLAXX!"
Knowing this is set in the same universe as the first 2 Terminator makes this anime more special. Knowing the heroes we know like John Connor are out there is special in perspective
this actually looks really good
Bring live-action Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles back.
It's criminal that Season 3 hasn't happened yet. There's not a lot of time left to do it.
Tbh the franchise has sorely needed an AI that is empathetic to mankind, instead of us vs Skynet for decades on end. Having an AI fighting alongside us would be fitting with the current times as well.
Wow.
You live action-obsessed but animation-hating Terminator fans saying all that makes me question your guys' hobby-
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 Bro what is your malfunction?.
Are you okay, mentally speaking?.
@@dirge7459
Of course I'm not okay!
These Terminator Zero anime put me in a bad mood >:/
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 Don't let them get you down broskie.
I'm honestly anticipating this since I heard it was in the works.
it's just that for some of us, we really liked the TV show and well, that never got finished and left us on a cliff-hanger.
Get ready for an anime studio to do something nobody's been able to do since T2. Make Terminator good.
Big diffrnce in live avtion and anime you cant even compare that.
Facts
@@pandabouncebounce Why though? I see no reason why you can't compare live action to animation. The differences between the mediums just makes the comparing more interesting.
It's not like you can say either medium is inherently better in all cases. At this point though, it seems far more likely an animation studio could do something interesting with the IP than another Hollywood re-reboot.
TSCC wasn't bad
we'll see, this doesn't look that good however.
...Hats off to whoever came up with this idea...And, also, to the person who okayed it.
They nailed it in Cyberpunk edgerunner, i hope they also nailed this one
0:52 Sypha Belnades from Castlevania? 🤔🤨
GYAATT
Production I.G ❤
Better than expected
This is so unique and refreshing to watch. I enjoyed it.
... that is THE BEST TRAILER I've seen in years! Smashing pumpkins music really amped it up!
We need an Arnold Schwarzenegger now!!!!
1:18 "PREPARE THY SELF"
“THY END IS NOW”
You are the only one that can do this my little “Girl Boss”…
This was surprisingly good
This franchise has needed an anime for a long time
Crossing fingers this becomes something epic and a fitting addition to the Terminator series (T2) vs a let-down (movies after T2)
3 and 4 weren’t that bad. If anything it would of been interesting where the story could of gone after Salvation.
@@skillet9141 "Weren't that bad". Hardly great praise. That doesn't actually mean they were good either. Let's not continue to lower the standards
Adding that @smashingpumpkins version of Disarm..... Chef's Kiss.
Leon Kennedy terminator goes hard.
Hell yes this looks promising!
And this is how my inner child gets a heart attack... Thanks, Netflix! 😱 - I almost had a heart attack while watching this. Thanks, Netflix! 🙌 In the midst of life's challenges and pains, it's wonderful to find things that still excite me like when I was a child. That feeling of enthusiasm and surprise, that "tun tun tu tun tun" in my heart 💓, reminds me that there is always room for joy and wonder.
If someone finds the name of this remix of Disarm by Smashing Pumpkins, tell me.
Me too.
Saw 15 mins of this already and I can say it’s fantastic!!
what?
Where?
0:09 Eh, a little elbow grease and some dish detergent should fix that lickety-split.
No matter the year, the era, I came across time for you, Terminator franchise. I love you. I always have.
That's great, sadly I'm alittle burnt out from the Terminator franchise now due to the fandom being so majoritively strict because of their obsession with the first 2 Terminator movies with also no explanation of what's ever so wrong for me to ever think Salvation and soon this show are more enjoyable than Genisys and Dark Fate combined lol.
I mean I did watch the first 2 movies too but I mean c'mon, like what the majority did was just like not cool at all-
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002 It's because the first 2 were good?.
1 stood on it's own two legs, and 2 added to 1 and actually ended on a good note.
ALl the other films have literally been borrowing heavily from T2, with the only exceptions being Salvation (still borrowed elements from 1 though) and the TV series.
@@dirge7459 Whatever man, that "beloved IP" excuse was the reason why the 80's was my least favorite media in the West except for Japan anyway lmao.
@@monster-mecha_enthusiast_2002
it's not an excuse?. It literally is beloved and has been for decades.
What the hell is your beef with older fans?.
Also so weird to see you hating an entire decade of media. Let me guess, you were born during the late 90's?.
@@dirge7459 Besides the only Western media I'll ever like is from the 90's and the 2000's, that's all.
That's why I started to think Japan had way cooler 80's media than the West, if you also have a problem with that? go ahead and say it to my face.
100/10 trailer - 1000/10 show on the way
So Netflix are now making Anime, based on blockbusters that we grew up with, which inspired us to this day.
Disarm by Smashing Pumpkins suits this trailer very well
This what Terminator should be live action. It should be done as a 6- 8 episode event for about 3 seasons by whoever could make it good. I dont want to automatically say Netflix because they have failed at some projects I excited to see but who knows.
wow im looking forward of seeing this anime version series of terminator lol
What if...
1: Aliens vs Terminator: Zero
2: Terminator vs Predator: Zero
3: Robocop vs Terminator: Zero
4: Aliens vs Predator vs Robocop vs Terminator: Zero
Skynet is so powerful that they made it into the anime world
