It seems the first part of this video was quickly overlooked as, throughout the rest of the video, the legitimacy of Israel's claim that the air strike was against military targets was brought into question. It seems the only people killed in the strike were 7 military advisers, one of them being "a top commander of Iran's elite quds force." Not sure why Iran's claims that it was just an embassy aren't questioned in the same way despite this fact. I think pretty much everything else in the video is spot on, just wanted to call out that oversight.

Are you crazy? An embassy having (7) military officers in it doesn't make it a military installation. How many times do you think have US generals visited their embassies?
Imagine believing Israel 😂😂😂
because everyone uses embassies for spying, military planning, smuggling and whatnot. Israel sure as hell does. It's all part of the international diplomacy charade where everyone publicly pretends nobody is doing shady shit so no one else publicly calls them on the very useful shady shit they are doing. How the building may or may not have been used at the time is irrelevant, diplomatic immunity means they are immune from legal or extra judicial consequences up until the immunity is withdrawn by the host country. Therefore whatever illegal stuff is done there Israel can't justify any public action beyond calling on the host country to withdraw the immunity. If Israel wants to withdraw from the diplomatic conventions and open up all their own embassies to police raids and bombings then they can do that. But while they still claim diplomatic immunity on their own properties, they don't have a leg to stand on here.
If they'd just done it the old-fashioned way and quietly poisoned those officials or set up plausibly deniable car bombs or something then the charade would have carried on just fine. But whatever you think of the current system, it has persisted for over a century and benefitted all the most powerful players involved. @@TheBlazersfan22 No he is correct!
It was still a consular building. The argument that Israel is making to justify themselves is 1.) it was a meeting between military leaders and therefore constituted a military target and 2.) the convention technically only explicitly prohibits the host country from violating the diplomatic immunity of the embassy, and Israel is a third party. The fact remains that Israel attacked internationally recognised sovereign Iranian territory that Syria had a duty to defend under diplomatic rules, giving a causus belli to both of them against Israel. Whether they are willing or military able to use that is another question entirely.

It has two armies, the conventional and the Revolutionary Guard, which are probably the best soldiers in the Muslim world. In a conventional war without nuclear wars and external support Iran would destroy Israel. The problem is that the US wouldn't let Israel fall obviously and that there isn't a land border between Israel and Iran.
If the US decided to go, it'll turn into a quagmire cos the US' rivals will jump to pay them back for what it's doing in their own backyards. So no, it won't be easy. It'll likely end with the ultimate failure of the attempts to stop them from getting the Thing.
