In the first clip, we see a slide with two long sentences written with a small font, so we need to read while he is speaking, and at that same time he mention it is super important. But the mix of both (visual and speech) makes it difficult to feel the importance. Having one slide for each subject, with a big, bold number, and a picture to represent what he is talking about would really help him. The visual would compensate a bit for the monotone delivery and lack of emotion. Last week-end on SNL, he revealed he has asperger. I think that explains why he communicates like that (very rational). They usually struggle to create emotional connection with people and to feel if what they say is clear or not (to read the audience), because for them everything is so obvious and clear. Doing things like acting in SNL will probably help him to better develop his communication skills. Many clips from SNL are available on UA-cam, and it's not bad. He certainly won't win an Oscar, but it's nice to see him doing some acting. It will be interesting to watch him in 5-10 years, to see the evolution when he deliver presentations. As for suggestions for future videos, someone I consider is a great speaker is Simon Sinek. He has tons of videos on UA-cam. I really like when he talk about something. It's simple, clear, to the point, and he has an ability to connect with people. He could be an interesting one to review. I totally agree Tommy... it's virtually impossible to read a slide and listen to a speaker at the same time - the slides should reflect the speakers key messages - I love big bold statements / words on slides. I think Simon Sinek is a great speaker. for me, he's a perfect example of authenticity. He knows that keeping it simple doesn't mean dumming down content, it means delivering messages your audience can easily absorb, take-way and remember! (Reply email is on its way :)
