I did too...dadgum "Big Bog Monster" was so stuck in my head during those times I hummed it all day...my classmates HATED sitting near me for awhile.
maybetoby I find it kind of Ironic since someone called Skapadon put Donkey Kong from that cartoon into his Super Smash Bros Lawl a few years back. Just recently though, he put in the K Rool. version in as well, so in a way, he predicted that he would be in the game. First toon version in a bootleg and not the real thing can happen!
And the "WELcome to CastleVANIA!" bit is from Captain N.
Because Dedede is voiced by Sakurai in Smash, Dedede laughing at you is as if Sakurai is laughing at all the fans who cried so hard for K. Rool for the Smash Ballot. That's what makes the beginning of that trailer so brilliant to me.

It really upsets me to see people sending Sakurai nasty tweets and messages about not having Waluigi be a playable character. This man is putting his blood, sweat, and tears into making this game to the point where he has lost sleep trying to make everything come together, and people attack him for not including a character? That is just extremely disrespectful.

In case you were wondering, Nikki is from the 3DS apps 'SwapNote' and 'SwapDoodle'; the former was caught up in some controversy and heavily re-done, while the latter(essentially a buffed version of the former) is for sending short notes/messages to other people on your 3DS friend list; it can link up with Nintendo Badge Arcade so that you can attach badges you've earned in your notes, and it also even has drawing lessons, similar to Pokemon Art Academy....

I am not really sure how much more they are going to add, but my list of guesses (the more I typed, the more I realized how crazy it is how much this thing can still expand):
Characters:
- Springman (Gotta throw some ARMS in there, for sure)
- Cranky Kong (Completely overshadowed by K.Rool, might be impossible now)
- Wonder Red (Even though he didn't make the cut for Smash 4, I still think they can)
- Sora (Disney is a barrier for sure, but KH has a lot of stuff released on Nintendo Handhelds)
- Banjo (Not really relevant anymore, but not impossible)
- Crash and or Spyro (Very unlikely, actually)
- Someone from Monster Hunter (The reveal of both a Boss and Assist Trophy from MoHun with no character is very, very suspicious)
- Lololo & Lalala or Prince Fluff from Kirby
- Professor Layton
- Phoenix Wright
- Someone from Contra, Metal Slug, Ninja Gaiden, Ghouls and Goblins, and or representants from other RPGs (Like Dragon Quest), Beat'em Ups (Like Double Dragon or Battletoads) and Fighters (Like KoF) from the SNES era. Pretty much the big series that aren't represented yet. Bandai could even throw a Digimon or two in there with Pac-man.
Echo Fighters:
- If you are adding Springman, Ribbon Girl is one step away.
- Birdo can Echo Yoshi
- Paper Mario - Either Mario or Mr. Game and Watch I guess?
- Protoman and or Bass. You know, it just fits.
- Shadow and or Silver. Again, Echo Fighters were made for this.
- Dixie / Kiddy for Diddy / DK
- Laugh if you want, but I think Ghirahim could Echo Sheik.
- Galacta Knight for Meta Knight
- Pokémon can just pretty much go nuts now. Have all Pikachu clones you want, Dragon-Types, Zoroark/Zeraora/Lycanroc for Lucario, Clefairy can Echo Jigglypuff.
- A bunch of Animal Crossing characters can also Echo for Villager.
- Unlikely, but I don't think it is impossible to have an Echo for Cloud.
- I'm tempted to say different skins for characters like Dry Bowser might be a thing, Idk.
Assist Trophies I'd personally upgrade to characters:
- Isaac from Golden Sun (He could even be a Fire Emblem Echo, it's ok)
- Rayman
- Bomberman
- Starfy
- Waluigi
It's not that Dragon Ball doesn't have a massive history of having games for the Nintendo Systems, it's more that it is a manga character mostly. I don't really think Nintendo would. They could shut my mouth and actually do it. But I doubt it.
