As a lotr obsessive I have to say that impression was spot on! This trail is high on my list now, just have to wait until my youngest can be without me overnight and then I'm going to get back into my hiking! Great video.
Good to see you back on the trail Kerry. Great to see Danni with matching Nails and Top, bit harsh locking her in the bathroom though. And crack on Steve.
Shame about the mist but lovely sound of the cookboo at the view catcher. It's great to see Steve still at it. I wish I had his stamina. Thanks for sharing.
I was in the Peak District yesterday up in the clouds with zero views. No tics though. That lyme disease is bad. It's a pity you lost one along the way, but Steve plods on. Kudos Steve.
Brings back memories of doing the great glen last year, especially that Scotmid shop! The guy behind the counter knocked me back for smokes!!! I’m 43 and bald with a big bushy beard 🤣 will maybe give this route a bash this summer.
@@DrunkOnWanderlust yes I do. One day. Finishing Pembrokeshire Coastal in late August (that or a week along SWCP). Next April Affric Kintail....got my eye on the Arctic Trail in Greenland for maybe August 2025...if I can sort it out!!!
Great to see you out and about again! Great video and looks like everyone is having fun!! As an aside, whilst watching this video I was thinking who does Kerry remind me of...the wool hat look is very Ting Tings!
Great to see you back Kerry - missed the videos ;-) Thanks for such a great taste of the Loch Ness 360. I really like the look of it and may have to do it myself one day.
its worth climbing Meall Fuar-mhonaidh (meal for-vonny), near Drumnadrochit. the big mound towering above everything. the view is something else. friom the moray firth to Ben nevis, Ben Wyvis, the alpine hills over Glen Affric.. its not far off the route
Nice to see you didn’t meet the bone stripping midgies, not sure when you did this hike but me and Barb did the awesome NC500 first week in May and never saw any. Glad to see you back on it again, still laugh at your Corfu cobweb hike a few years back. Tenerife hiking for us in November, Robbo and Barb 👌👍
Ahhh we were there from May 13th!! Hope you both had a wonderful time xx omg me and Danni were thinking about doing Tenerife hiking in November 😃 if our work schedules allow Maybe we will see you there lol
Icaridin is effective in keeping ticks off. 30+ % if you can find it. it doesnt melt plastic or react with sun block or have much smell. i use neem oil but it smells like fried onions
Ha, how funny - I was just reading a blog by a guy on the LN360 yesterday, as I've been thinking about going along the fair haired lad's pass! Good to see you back up in my neck of the woods. I'm now wondering if I went past you all in Inverness as I definitely saw a large group setting off some days ago!
Ahh we went a few weeks ago, I’ve been swamped with work so only just had time to get the video up x but I def recommend the trail it was beautiful, especially the south side!
@@DrunkOnWanderlust a good time to do it - before the midges come biting. Although it seems the ticks were in action. Aye, the 'fair haired lad's pass' is on the south side. Hope to do it at some point this month.
For Lymes disease you need the right type of tick, it needs to be a carrier and a good 24hrs of the tick being attached, my point is it's pretty hard to get infected. The long form video's are great. 😊
Glad you’re enjoying the longer vids! And better safe than sorry regarding the ticks … I didn’t have time to ask each one if it was a carrier before extracting it 😂😝 … hopefully I didn’t have any on my bum that I couldn’t see for days Hope you’re having a fun year so far
You deserve more subscribers with the effort you put in

Ahhh glad you enjoyed it, yes it’s a lovely trail .. the second half is even better though
