I know everyone else is already thanking you for this, but I'm going to add my Muchisimas gracias to you as well! Once again, you've read my mind (because it's all about MEEEEE) and answered questions I was just going to ask! I love it!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I gotta be honest, these videos are pretty much for you (and my loyal viewers like you) because they don't perform very well in general UA-cam searches.
Thank you for this type of video Barbara. There are so many things that we can learn and it’s so much easier to watch someone do it and explain at the same time!!!
I'm glad it was helpful. I do so much talking in these videos because I have learned that a lot of visually impaired knitters use UA-cam for these kinds of things.
That is so helpful!! Thank You Very Much Barbara As Always for All of your Infinite Wisdom!! You always make knitting come easy and keep it 💯% EasyPeazy so many are able to pick up.. You are a Life saver ❤💐❣🦋!! Stay Safe and Stay Healthy Sweetie 🙏! 😷🆙️
Did you get a new camera? The last two videos have been so much sharper and clear. Really HD picture. Not me as I am still on same old ipad. Thank you for this video, very helpful!
You know, I really haven't done anything different LOL! I have the same ole webcam for when I'm talking to y'all and I use my iPhone to shoot tutorial videos like this one.
Hi Barbara, thanks for this tutorial. I have a question, how do I fix a dropped stitch on a finished sock? The dropped stitch is on the foot of the sock.
If the sock is already finished there really isn't a way to "fix" it without pulling it out. What you can do is take some scrap yarn and essentially sew it in so it doesn't run. You will need a pretty long piece of yarn because you'll have to weave the ends in pretty far to make sure that it is secure - because you're not going to want a knot on the foot of your sock.
Hi Barb, in the first fix, why did you reverse mount the stitch? Is it because the piece is mosaic, or is that how you normally fix a knit stitch. I’ve never changed the mount. Thanks
I would like to ask. If you could help with why, I can see the light color thru the dark color. My pattern is correct, but in the middle of a black square, you can see the white. It is my first mosaic attempt.
Without seeing it, it is tough to troubleshoot ... but my first guess would be that it's a gauge issue. If the fabric you are creating is relatively open then you will be able to see through it.
Yes can you please teach a mosaic dropped stitch a few rows down? On 2 color mosaic. Garter stitch is every second row to knit back One color is two rows first row is slipped stitches second row is garter back. If you realized you have an error a few rows back how do you figure out if it’s a slipped row or knitted row? One color is slipped w/ 0yib the other color is slipped with yif with a garter row in between. So say you need to go back four or more rowsoo9 back and it’s a written pattern. If it were charted it would be easier. How do you identify up where you have no chart as that would be easier going down
I will think on this, but I think it might be too complicated to do in a short form video. There are a lot of elements that go into this kind of repair and most of them are very situation dependent. Depending on how far down the mistake is ... sometimes the easiest fix is duplicate stitch.

I've always used crochet hooks to ladder down but will definitely give this method a try.
Crochet hooks definitely make things easier, but I wanted to do the demo for people who might be in an emergency, crochet hook free, scenario. LOL
Thank you so much. I will soon be starting my first project with quite a bit of mosaic work. I’m sure this tutorial will be useful.
Hopefully you won't need it at all!
This was very helpful
Wonderful!
Great video. Thanks.

Thank you for this video. I was hoping you had a fix for a dropped st 6 rounds down, lol. Oh well! 😊
You can do that, but it is much more complicated.
Good information to know. Thanks :)
Glad it was helpful!

Enjoyed your teaching do yiu have any beginner
I have done a few things aimed at more beginning knitters, what kind of beginner content are you looking for?
