All very interesting but it perfectly sums up why I fell out with carp fishing. Where is the mystery? The excitement of fishing for the unknown that has appealed to most anglers from childhood? There is an element of the pheasant shoot in modern carp fishing. Where will it all end? Every fish wearing a name badge with a bar code, stating age, weights at previous captures, favourite baits, feeding times and favourite swims?
Very interesting and an insight to the venue some lovely fish going into the pools rewards for hard work over the years of establishing the lakes and there for anglers to catch in future . Any fish is a bonus to me
great to see Rich, you've done a fantastic job with your fishery and your angling mate, you have certainly achieved all you set out to achieve from our chats down Bluebells all them years ago, all the best mate
Have you got room for a lake stocked with crucians, perch and rudd in the future? That would tick all the boxes for me and lots of others. Great work and looking forward to the next video.
You have truly done a fantastic job there Rich. Last time I was at the lake mustang had an average size of around 25lb. So a while ago but looks amazing and cant wait to get back at some point. Maybe see you on the banks at Weybread sometime 👍🏻
Another great video. Really enjoyed that, very interesting. Loved the look at the crucians - would like to see you fish for them!! And the perch, do you ever try for them too.... I bet they can get to a good size in there? Keep it up mate, absolutely brilliant footage. 👍👍👍
Great vid. Some lovely fish and the Crucian look really beautiful. Just wondered where the fishery was and if it’s day ticket? 😊😊 keep the vids coming Rich
@@all-roundanglerwithrichwil6161 Haven't fished for carp for nearly 40 years and always liked commons but those linear and fully scaled mirrors really do look great, do you have any pike in you larger lake?
Nice one Rich. Do you lime the stock ponds when you've drained them down or is that not necessary every year? It's great to see the fishery. I was fortunate to fish Mustang back in 2015 and caught a lovely low 20 mirror and I wonder what it might look like and weigh today! Loving the videos too so keep them coming👍
Dream job

Great insight into running a fishery, very interesting to watch 👍 I love me a big ol common carp but those linears really caught my eye, tight lines 🎣
I realize I am kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released movies online ?

No prob Rich. Bit far from me in Rutland anyway 😊😊. Looks a great place though
I'd love your job or my house close to a good lake with a great stock in
How many fish do you keep in the stock pond altogether?
Just found your channel Loved the video!
Gave you a sub so I get all your future updates!
Do you breed any tench, interesting video by the way👍👍👍👍
I don’t do tench, but maybe one day

How do I find farms that sell carp fish in large quantities?thanks
Do you ever breed tench?

Cheers mate, yes I lime them and then chalk water to get the best quality
The fish iv seen come out of a big huge natural lake near me are black in colour.. what's the reason for this?
Hi Rich just out of interest how big can a carp grow in a year?
It depends on age, but I’ve had a couple put 9lb in in a year
Is the big lake a day ticket or syndicate?
It’s a holiday type venue for groups of friends to exclusively book for the week
@@all-roundanglerwithrichwil6161 Cheers Rich
You keep those fish out of the water for far too long...
