@@darylboag2590 I agree with everything you said and have said similar elsewhere. You have put it all together developing a great argument that when Andy Murray was about to take over he had that "career ending" hip issue. We had Federer, then Nadal joined him. Then we had the Djokovic - Nadal years and then we would have had the Murray years. We cannot underestimate how he more or less won the Davis Cup single handedly for Great Britain.

Andy once said that "you have to go into each match believing you can beat all of the players". That belief is still there, I'm quite sure.
I am confident that this point will never, ever fail to give me goosebumps all over. It begins with the returned overheads, followed by the sound of the ball hitting the net, the racket smash, the crowd, and Andy's priceless reaction as the crowd continues to roar in celebration of this legend. The grit, the determination and the belief that you can always win if you dedicate your entire being has been a quality of his that I have up until this moment never seen before in any sportsperson. This point is the pinnacle of what defines Murray and it exemplifies why he is one of the best players and by far the biggest warrior that the tennis world has ever known. rafa , roger and novak are very fortunate that Murray had severe health problems due to his metal hip the 3 players mentioned and most tennis fans today forget Murray was the best player on the planet in 2016 when he won the ATP finals [ world champion] then two months later unfortunately he needed to have the hip operation .ATP TENNIS FINALS equivalent to football world cup competition as only the top 8 seeded players can only compete. 2017 TO 2023 that is 6 years of his tennis career due to his problems with his hip Andy has been robbed of potentially adding to his 3 slams he has missed out on 24 chances to win another grand slams . A fully physically fit Murray without the hip problems you are at least looking at adding between 7 to 10 more grand slam titles ANDY MURRAY IS ONE OF THE GREATS IN TENNIS A TENNIS LEGEND

Damn, imagine if his hip didn’t fail him in 2016 and cost him years, probably could have a couple of majors, probably a lion share of novaks wimbledons. He had Novak’s number on grass.
