Lincoln was a counsler of mine at the Iowa camp in Mason, IA in 2001. He helped shape & mold my wrestling mentality but also my worldview. He would always ask me thought provoking questions I would not hear back in California. I still admire him today with his success in the business world but mostly because of his morality as a human. God bless him & Iowa Hawkeyes, these guys were like father-figures to me when my father was absent.
Hey Lincoln you are one of the greats you're a humble guy as well. I read an interview that you didn't think you were one of the best wrestlers, YOU DEFINITELY ARE, they should of had you wrestle the guy you wrestled in the semis, at the Olympics, in the finals you shouldn't had been in same bracket as him. You're an amazing wrestler, an amazing man and Dad as well. So many guys, that are on no level close to what you were in wrestling, put so much on their sons to wrestle and you let your sons do and play the sport they wanted.
Amazingly humble and honest interviewee.
Thanks for that guys!

Accurate description of Williams, “two weight classes above me in strength, three below in speed. Tough to deal with”. And that’s an understatement.

My favorite wrestler. Met him while I was a student at Iowa. Such a soft spoken, articulate guy, but boy on the mat he was a ball of fire!
I love how he describes going against Williams. Williams was a physical phenomenon
Great interview. Thanks for this!
Such a Class Act!!!
Kyle great interview - love these interviews.
Outstanding on both ends of the interview....
Sounds like he would of been a fan of Morgan headgear if they were around back then
not sure why you didn't even mention his matches vs Daniel Igali especially at the 2000 Olympics. good interview overall though.
Have to agree with Lincoln, Mike Mena was nasty.
