Hey Scott, thanks for doing this video helpful as always. In terms of cleaning the filter at service intervals we sell a proper kit that will last a very long it comprises of the oil and cleaning fluid. The mesh is stainless and will not rust. Also in terms of the labels I will get on to the manufacture and see what we can do about it making them a bit more sticky Thanks again bud 💪
@@BeavisPits sorry i missed that, wayyyyyy back there wasn't a proper process in place regarding the oiling of filters and some of them did infact leave to saturated. However for a number of years now they have had an additional process which insures the filters are oiled with the exact amount every time all the time and also added an additional QC check as well. I have had no issues what so ever regarding oil and mafs and ive run these filters in cars from fiestas to Ferraris
Thank you for the video Scott. Not sure if these are worth it, assuming I change mine every 12 months it would take 4.5 years to break even. Only maybe for me is the fact they would do better if you got water in the air box.
Well well well Scott! Taken into mind reading now have you? I genuinely just had a thought about whether it was worth getting one of these, since the ITG has just gone down in price, quite literally thirty minutes ago, and you share this! Nice one fella, and I realise my logic is flawed since you already edited and started uploading before I thought about it... and I don't care...

Did you see the comments on the oily MAF sensor? Take it the ITG won’t suffer from this issue?

Be interested in how the MAF sensor copes with the oil from the ITG filter.
Been running it for a month and no issues so far. The filter is pre-oiled but not oily as such. No oily residue coming off it.
