Clark is leading the league with assists, as well as leading the league in points and assists (even with all the dropped passes and missed 2pt, 3pt and layups) she has contributed 41% of the Fevers pts scored and leads Guards for rebounds, and is 5th for STLs - The who is who of the WNBA C & F who are on the Olympic team will be able to receive Clarks passes and make those 2Pt, 3Pt and layups and that takes care of most of the Turnovers. Only a fool, a tool or a stool for brains would keep Clark away from the Team - as to how right I might be, if Clark is given time on the court in the Allstar Game that should answer any and all questions, for the simple reason Clark's teammates are all one-off players for her.
Bro if this Chelsea gray lady is better than CC right this moment people are crazy.. I don’t know her game or how she was before.. But what I have seen so for from her I don’t know what Chelsea gray is doing on the team
Look at her last dozen games. She has improved a lot over the course of the season. Let's be real. The Olympics is a product used to make money. It's not about the "purity of sports" or they would still insist on everyone being amateurs. They want to sell cars and beer and perfume and hamburgers. You have to admit, unless you are not very smart, that CC is at least as good as every other guard on that team. And the best passer in the WNBA. The WNBA is cutting off their nose to spite their face. The Olympics committee is cutting off their nose to spite their face. The blind are leading the blind, and we have to watch them all fall into the pit. If they DON'T win the gold medal this year (despite the incredible talent of the USA ladies) they will never hear the end of it. That is another reason that the decisions being made are so crazy. No three point contest for CC. No Olympic team for CC. I guess the 3 billion she just pumped into the league was meaningless.
Chelsea Gray is a point guard, and was considered the best facilitator prior to her injury for many years. Unfortunately, she is not the same after her injury, and as an avid WNBA fan, she is nowhere near Caitlin Clark’s unpolished passing ability this year. or any year for that matter. USA women’s basketball messed up dearly by picking the roster in advance and it is too late to call up Caitlin Clark. Also, I prefer CC to get her rest and work on her craft with her teammates. Playoff spot is more important, and a deep push into playoffs would override her short playing time in the Olympics.
It took seven years for Jordan to win an NBA finals. He needed better teammates. CC needs better teammates (though Boston is all-star caliber), better coaching of the team, better GM decisions, etc. Her team might possibly make the playoffs, but I guess that her career would get a much bigger boost from the Olympic games than from losing in the first round of the playoffs on a bad team. She's already quadrupled the TV revenue (with non-exclusive rights, so more money to go) but I guess that will only double her salary (surely the owners would like their pockets jammed for once rather than losing money like every other year). An Olympic gold would have her selling us luxury cars and insurance and give her some stupid bank money. And her playing in the Olympics would make her happy and I guess it would not diminish her game for the rest of the season either. Let's say it costs them two games and they are the final seed into the playoffs. I think they would probably be one or two seeds higher than if they did not lose those games. But I think playing with other great players and winning the gold would 1) get some haters off of her back and 2) lift her spirits and 3) make her an even better player. But we won't get to find out.
@@danncorbit3623 Solid points. WNBA is still a subsidized league, and these billionaire owners should have no problem writing off losses, hence why the league existed despite years of revenue loss. Hope this changes moving forward. The recent $2.2B media rights contract is a right start. It just shows how important Caitlin Clark is to the league. With this kind of revenue pouring in, investors will eventually pressure WNBA and owners to overhaul how they operate and manage its cash cow (Caitlin) moving forward. It needs time. As if to underscore your point, in tonight's Fever vs Wings game, Clark had 19 assists. It would have been more if her teammates hadn't blown so many easy buckets from underneath the basket.

OK, fine, what is the measure of a great point guard? Assist to turn over ratio. 19/4=4.75 which is absurdly excellent. Magic Johnson's career number was 2.89. You are nuts. Everyone has a bad game and Plum is the best three point shooter on that squad. A career 39% three point shooter and fully deserving. I think you picked the wrong target. Here is the burning question, where are the assists coming from? As of late, CC is on fire and the USA team is loaded with shooters but passing is a concern. I would like to see Clark, Plum and Ionescu on that team, because it would be impossible to double them all and if you need a three in a tight situation, that group would be unstoppable. CC has lots of passes whizz past the head of her teammates or bounce off of their hands because most of them are not great players and not used to having a great passer on the team. With olympic caliber players on the receiving end, CC would be making oohs and aahs and the whole team would be fun to watch
CC stat is same category: Pts: 17.1 Reb: 5.8 Ast: 8.2 Stl: 1.5 Thus CC is a better point guard than Alyssa and should be the starting point guard for teamUSA in Paris Olympics. CC trails Thomas in rebound. There are a lot of bigger players in teamUSA to grab rebound. There are two categories that was not mentioned but very important. 3 pt percentage: 32.7% vs 0.0% CC wins. Free throw percentage: 89.1% vs 64.7% CC wins. That means CC presents more severe threat than Thomas. CC has three point shots and thus you cannot dig in paint area to defend CC. Does anyone realize that Caitlin Clark is shooting less than 40% and not even 33% from the 3 pt line?????
She takes alot of 3's!!!!!!
These are low numbers!!!!!
No but it’s okay she is a point!
Anything over 30% is good especially from downtown. 30% from point blank is terrible.
That’s cause you lying she’s shooting 33.2% from three which is good for a rookie especially considering she was constantly getting double teamed, they pick her up at half court.
Yeah, that's all you want to see about Caitlin Clark, turnovers, low percentage shooting 3's,we the fans just enjoying what Caitlin Clark brings to a game, win or lose,😂😂😂
I think, the only thing that makes you enjoy a game is Caitlin Clark and the Fevers lose😂😂😂
CC is = NBA Westbrook , Stat stacker & Energy👍🏽,CC is not outperforming the Most Player Altho its highlighted as such🤔& CC is not a 2Way Guard ( defense & better % shooters), Hell ‼️a girl just came off the bench & hit 8 3pt in a game( No it wasn’t Logo CC , but a role player🫢, let’s U know the WNBA has high talent). Media & sports r highlighting teammates pts made off CC assists, but Not f other Guards who have a higher FGM%AST, Smoke & Mirrors‼️
Fam you just compared somebody that only had to shoot 3s to somebody that has to be a floor general and still get buckets while being on top of everybody's scouting report. You must didn't see what she did last night? She was driving the ball and making shots through contact while crossing people up.
They should add some women to the team
