I think that pistol he had at the beginning was a time traveler from the future

I love Stories of the Century, but they sure did tell a tall tale on this one! Clay Allison died an accidental death while working on his ranch. On July 3, 1887, Allison was hauling a wagon load of supplies when the load shifted. A sack of grain fell from the wagon, and Allison fell from the wagon as he tried to catch it. A wagon wheel rolled over him, breaking his neck. His death was almost instantaneous; he was 46 years old.

That may be true or not what you have to say. The main thing is that he went down in the end and not as a winner but as thug that he truly was.

That’s exactly right. And it was on July 3, 1887, not July 4, 1879.

This episode is a mockery of courtroom law, as anyone who knows law can plainly see.

How did Clay Allison manage to get into the Cavalry fort like that?
Was someone paid off in advance?
    Stupid or crookedness?

    Make believe,
    Make believe,
    Make believe.
Showing the Cavalry as being stupid.
A civilian to just ride up in the military fort and shoot all of the firing squad just like that. And, you say the information come from files as well as newspaper records?
    Bull! Bull! Bull!
