The sad thing is that Biden could've gone down in history as a good president had he just not sought re-election. I think he is awful, but I've talked to many people prior to the debate who insisted that Biden was great and would say he was one of the better presidents of their lifetime. And I would always look at them like they had two heads, but to each their own and I know a lot of these people just hated Trump so much and bought into the threat to democracy line from the media so much that they were primed to believe a preschooler would be the best compared to Trump. But now, because of that debate, Biden is forever going to be remembered as the Weekend at Bernie's president. No one will care about any of the supposed achievements of Biden's tenure because they're only going to be able to talk about the fact that he was effectively a corpse shambling about the White House. His ego, his insistence on a second term, ruined him. Meanwhile Trump is still holding rallies, on his feet and going off script, making Biden look that much older every day.
