Thank you for these videos!! I do this every paycheck I get. Question I have tho, the Savings account is for emergencies and then the rest is to be invested. Should there be another Savings account for bigger ticket things that aren’t emergencies that need to be bought? IE: work done to the house, new appliances, a car if needed… where should that money be stashed? Thanks!!

Automation hack: If you have direct deposit from your with, you can often split it between multiple accounts. Mine will either do a specific dollar amount or you can do a percentage of the check. Either way, it doesn't touch your spending account and tempting you.
I have gotten to where I hate spending money. I want to put as much as I can in dividend and others stocks. Every time money is spent, I think of how I could have invested it instead.....

I’ve done this for years, except my income is split with direct deposit. I do my finances bi-annually when equal-payments adjust.

My spouse and I are adding a variety of stocks/ETF to my present holdings for the long term, We've set aside $250k to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, I believe it is a good time to capitalize on the market for long-term gains, but it wouldn't hurt to know means of actualizing short term profit.

Because I started a little bit in investing 5 years ago, and as I have put more and more in, the markets keep going down further lol. Thankfully we had other stuff going on at the top of the market, so we are about flat rather than waaaay down, so we haven't lost much money... But we have yet to see the growth side of this yet.
I just keep telling myself, this is a long term plan. The next 5 years should be a bit better than the last 5. And the next 20 years should be much better than the last 5!
When everyone say invest 15% of your income but I already do 20% of household income in 401k do I need to invest more then that ?
I'd only 401 what they matched. The other I would invest in my own IRA or whatever.

Still have enough time for retirement. If you start investing $1000 per month for next 15 years with 7% rate of return, You will be having around $300k when you will be 54 :)

I had multiple accounts and it wasn't worth it because you get charged for every one.
Every paycheck, I invest into my Roth IRA, some into savings, spend the rest in that order
