With all due respect, It's just the simplicity and humbleness of Amit trivedi, which makes him look like less of a composer amongst these guys.
No doubt all of them are great Composers and I love all of their work but Amit trivedi stands out even amongst them. This interview clearly doesn't depict that, but that's the reality.
He may be less experienced in his tenure compared to others, but much more vibrant with an amazing caliber!

The genius of amit trivedi is such that he composed a jingle for OLX. I heard it for the first time and instantly fell in love with it. Thats the only jingle on my ipod.

This has been one of the most satisfying interviews I’ve heard and seen. Intelligent conversation by the finest in music. Thank you Rhea and all you guys on the panel. I am a music person and understood exactly the "pains" of working for people who are non musicians.
I have watched the entire episode 3 times and each time, I think its Film Companion's best. Please do one with lyricists as well. And one solo with Amit Trivedi.

Film Companion- you are just classy and authentic! Couldn't have imagined anyone else thinking of this interview and the repertoire of questions that followed. Musicians are the most blessed souls in the entertainment business, naturally so are each and every one of these stars sitting in this room chatting. Each and every art form is unqiue, but music is music!
Please do more interviews with music directors and singers. Such a treat to watch!
I wish they would talk more about creating background scores and their approach to music production than just songs. Amit Trivedi was the only one to at least mention that he produces his own music. Great chat though!

It's unfortunate that in India whenever the topic of film music comes up people only think of songs. The ones doing the crucial work of background scores remain unsung and never get their due. You should do a roundtable of say for example Julius Packiam, Sanjoy Chowdhary, Amar Mohile and Tubby and Parik.

The only originally music composer is Mr.ilayaraja, who is dad of ARR. Lol....ARR worked under him to learn many arrangement of notes and mixing.

This is the most chill roundable table I've seen so far on Film companion. There always seem to be a tension in the air with Actors and directors (No hate, just an observation), but these men are super chill and humble.
