Infill vs Alteration

Recognizing the difference between infill and alteration is really important in hydrothermal mineralization systems is really important because most of the ore minerals we look for occur almost exclusively in the infill component. Pyrite can occur in both infill and alteration. It looks nice, but it is usually barren when it occurs as an alteration product.
