funky munky I could never be certain of what they specifically meant by it but it does remind me of what Jacque Fresco once said that in life change is the only constant. He also said “A child never writes his own alphabet. A sail boat does not sail, it is pushed by the wind. A seed does not grow, it needs soil, water, and radiant energy. Nothing in nature is self-activating” - so to me this song seems to be about the constancy and inevitability Of change. You might like Jacque Fresco also who id say is smarter than even Einstein and much lesser known. You may enjoy his lecture What The Future Holds Beyond or his Project The Venus Project - a Project that would in fact accelerate the progress and positive change for all of humanity.

Why is the second bass note completely different to the album track? It's an A on the recorded version, yet here for some reason it's an F - sounds arbitrary I know but the root notes of a melody progression really define the sequence and it just feels a bit off. Always seems strange when artists change certain notes in the tracks they play live. Wonder why they did it? In this case, personally I think the song loses impact as a result.
