I love the History from Lee Njiru.
We need the inspiration so we pass this determination to our Country.
Can't wait for the release of the book.
This gentleman is a great story teller! He puts you on tension to hear what is next!He is so smart
I must admit that Mr Njiru is so good with names. He talking about events that happened in the 80s, like 39 yrs ago but he still remembers the names very clearly despite his age
I can’t get enough of this interview.very nice
Watching while waiting for the IEBC final announcement.
I'd listen to this guy for the whole day.
The book is a must have. Great show! !!! God bless Lee Njiru
Lee Njiru is an exceptional storyteller. Sharp brain too ...
Lee Njiru is an awesome man, perhaps this is why President Moi kept him close for such a long time. Bravo Major General Jackson Tuwei, my neighbour. Indeed Lee Njiru is a learned person, I am mesmerised how he as mastered the political science theories such as Bradley effects in election and how he relating it with Kenya as case study.....
Lee Njiru is among the few Kenyans who speak the truth, l belief in his story.
My goodness! The clarity with which this man recalls and articulates events with persons and dates is astounding! Hii kitabu yake itabidi tu kusoma! Brilliant!
As a young man this is one of the most educative interviews i have watched..Jeff bring more of This.the humbleness and intelligence of lee is what amazed me most.

Wow Mr. Lee Njiru! Thank you for keeping this immaculate history for us. A real Kenyan patriot.
The Kenya Newsreel made watching in movies in Kenyaso much more special.
The interview is factual for the fact that my country Liberia was mentioned with the coup by Master Sergeant Samuel Doe in 1980. I follow you from Ganta, Nimba County, Liberia.
Hastings N Gbamon
I remembered this guy back in 2005 at kabarak university. Went there from Ethiopia for the world Christian follow ship. We were outside greeting muze moi. As an Ethiopian I used to watch muze back while I was a kid on tv. Then when I saw him personally, it was the happiest day of my life and went to greet him as any ordinary person but Lee look at me and kicked me at my stomach. It was very pain full. Muze moi looked at me and told to Lee to let me to greet him. Muze moi told me with out asking me where I came from "I know you r from Ethiopia looking on your face. Ethiopians are good ppl and best friends of mine" I said thank you and muze left. But for Lee my stomach is still on pain lol. Love you Kenyans.
Mel Michael sorry 4 what happened to u.he was probably trying to be protective of mzee but did it in the wrong way
I know that. Lee was doing his job to protect mzee. But he was very fearful person when you look at him.
Wow
I once met president Moi but Lee wasn't around and so luckily i got to greet Moi without any beating. Judging by the big decisions that presidents make, Moi was too calm
Hahahaha, very sorry sir
My goodness this mzee should be preserved as an archaelogical site🤣🤣🤣too much history!
I would gladly read a book by Lee Njiru. This history need to be documented and kept for future generations.
There is a memoir he has written named The Presidents' Pressman
He has a new book "The president pressman" hope we will get it
@allin Kenya where can I get the book?

Very riveting interview. Mr. Njiru should write a book of these experiences.
Njiru knows this thing. Well said!
We are privileged to still have him with us.
They were meeting the 'package' not me.... Sometimes I drank something which is not water! This mzee 😂😂😂
This guy is funny as hell.. i could listen to him all day.
I now understands what I never knew at all.
Very educative and I think there should a documentary of this.
I truly truly RESPECT you Lee Njiru for your humility , dedication and many years you have sacrificed to serve our Nation and the President .
I can’t wait to read your book” hopefully it should be in Amazon soon” It takes sacrifice to serve a leader and You have really challenged my life; you are one person that knows Kenya Period:

If Lee Njiru publish a Memoir, it would be an instant best best selling Author.
woooow......I'm loving this.
2 years n still watching
An insightful tale on state craft! And those thinking its wastage, the system is not the same thing as having your mother send you to the kiosk to buy milk. Its much more sophisticated. Get with it.
Good show Geff,,,,Wisdom,,old is gold tells it all,,,lastly The Holy Book Bible sum it all in this amazing talk interview. Did enjoyed.
Dennis Itumbi wishes he had listened to this great man before 2013.
IT was mohamud WHO retook Voice of Kenya(Vok) and told the president to come back to state house Nairobi and told the country men the Government is fully in control.
Very interesting, I didn't blink once watching this!
This show was smoking. Thanks Jeff

Great interview.. 👍✅✅
This Man Lee Njiru..
i remember very well on that day at 3pm seeing moi in his mercedes 600 pulman limo being escorted to nairobi by the kenya army ferret armoured cars .on naivasha road near dagoretti corner.
Am the look alike of Jomo kenyatta, I believe he's my father, my mother refused to tell me who is my father. Pls scrutinize my profile, it's the face of the finding father.
Such an amazing story teller
Absolutely amazing interview
call him back plz watching in 2022.
this guy is veery funny..hahaha i loved this talk
Lee .great knowledge
he did it, he wrote the book
How public money was being squandered. Flying people to deliver 'rungu'?
It's an absolute pity that when it was necessary to use POWER to get his fimbo or some papers to NY, it was used. But the same POWER was never used to build and develop our country and it's people. They forgot that the POWER they had was paid for and provided by THE PEOPLE - the same people who were tortured and murdered if they dared complain that POWER was being abused. Mr Njiru please spare us this nonsense of "Moi built the country with one hand and used the other to fight enemies" - HE DEVELOPED NOTHING ! Shame. Shame. Shame.
Deep interview
i like this mzee very clever
That mzee was indeed great
The guy is a good story teller
God damn he looks like Moi
Jkl knowledge of military coups is underestimated.
Smart man
I'm so thrilled having to listen to great history about our dearly departed African leaders. All the way from South Africa.. Lee Njiru is a great historian, I love listening to great stories about our African leaders. May Mzee Moi's soul rest in peace
Borrowed power.... Don't get delusional! What a lesson from Mr Njiru
I celebrate my grandfather too. He used to work with this guy in State House. But he was a gardener. Imagine for 28 good solid years. Unfortunately the mzee danced to Kabaka's hits day and night instead of grabbing land in Karen. Now see my life!
Hahaha haha
Learnt today fimbo ya Nyayo was ivory 🤔
Your grandfather had integrity and character, I wish most Kenyans were the same.
😂😂😂😂😂
🖕🏿🖕🏿💩
Seems like no president wants tto stay at state house, the only place everyone else would want to stay. Good lesson on time keeping
Borrowed strength ✔️
Itumbi of this world ✔️🤣🤣🤣
You can remember all those people and forget the big hotel you slept. Why people like Mr Lee give the light when it's over, to me this doesn't help
At his age you will remember nothing, lets give him credit
@@WhatstrendingEA But he still recalls
Thanks he has told us about the ivory button...😂😂 I have always heard a wrong version of the story 😆
I heard other stories that he drove in the trunk of a car from nakuru to Nairobi. Who is telling the truth 🤷🏽♀️
Amazing memory! ..
Lee wewe ni sharp brain mpaka majina unajua?
you cant make this staff up. smoooooookiing
I love the kneel and pray to God part 😑
So technically the roads were better then as Moi would drive to Arusha with the car?? Hawa vijana siku hizi the roads are soo bad that they can rarely drive more than 100km on the road. No wonder everyone rides the helicopter these days!
the Man is old but the face luks like he is in 50s he must be eating wat Mzee Moi is cooked for
Katrina babe 😅😅😂😂
wasn't a drank.
Does this guy have a book? if not he should write...
Yes coming out this week
Jeff, that laughter is just phony...
Bradley effect nimejua leo.
Jeff knows how to milk info...mzee hataki kuongea mengi
