@@Kektus1 I could absolutely see Hazbin's Lucifer not swearing either. Now if the issue was that he didn't want to be in something with lots of swearing in general, well that would be a lot harder for Vizie to work with (arguably undoable with both Angel Dust and the general populace of Hell).
A group of animators did a fan version of this with a different weird al polka set 4 years ago called "now that's what I call polka"
And one the animator for We Don’t Talk About Bruno was actually an animator for it, can’t remember what song.

I feel like I should mention that the "Now THAT'S What I Call a Polka!" animated video was all fan-work in tribute to Weird Al. Weird Al's other official animated polka was actually "Polka Face."
With that said, one of the animators from the "Now THAT'S What I Call a Polka!" video (specifically Jack D. Evans, who animated the "I'm Sexy And I Know It" song) also got to be in this one (by animating the "We Don't Talk About Bruno" number) so that's actual TWO fan-animators who got to become official animators for Weird Al in this video!

I don’t know if you know but the first animation was by Cyriak, known for his awesome but surreal animations like kitty city and circle world. He actually makes some awesome music himself

12:46 Vivienne Medrano aka Vivziepop creator of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel did indeed animate this section, which is probably one of my favorites in the collab along with old town road by Liam Lynch and uptown funk by Ryan Krzak
Actually viv didn't animate this section just story boarded the animation was done by Senior Pacman!
I believe the ending of the polka with the different Als was all the outfits Taylor wore from Shake It Off. But I agree, I am going to listen to it 27 more times.

I love the range of Ian’s facial expressions during the beginning of WAP, you can see his face go from “tf is this?” to “oh, it’s wap” to “OH, IT’S WAP”

Omg you caught quite a bit more than a lot of reaction videos (especially the Albuquerque animator!!), awesome to see! One thing I caught immediately was the animator for the first section with the cow, that's Cyriak! Viral UA-cam animator that animates very strange distorted animals, you may recognize his videos 'Baaa', 'cows & cows & cows', 'Welcome to Kitty City', and 'Walks of Life'
17:10 We got the slang "Ich küsse dein Auge", in Germany, which translates into "I kiss your eye" and, well, I don't know it's exact meaning, but it should correlate to something like affection or being thankful. The last time I heard anyone use this was Ungespielt, when he was still uploading his reaction videos.

I think the closest he ever got to this was "Achy Breaky Song", where he just spends the entire runtime shitting on "Achy Breaky Heart" By Billy Ray Cyrus, echoing the sentiments of it being EVERYWHERE at the time. Definitely the most actively hostile to the source material I've heard him be on a song, but I can only imagine it was in good fun.

I knew this couldn't be Mrs. Krabappel's voice actress (not unless this was recorded as late as 2013) so I looked it up. Tress MacNeil voices Agnes Skinner (Principal Skinner's mother) and at least two other less reoccurring characters.

The bit at 26:35 is a play on the bit at the end of "Shake It Off" where they show Taylor dressed in all the outfits she wore in the video.

The Man, the other two Songify debate songs he did with the Gregory Brothers -- Bad Hombres & Nasty Women, and We're All Doomed -- a couple of songs he did for various animated voice work he was a part of, and a few more. I'm sure there' a list somewhere, but I've heard he's released about 50 songs since Mandatory Fun.)

If there is only one critique I may have of this polka medley, it may be that compared to the others, the song transitions in the medley are a little dry or its pieces feel less connected than in previous medleys of his. But that's very minor when everything else is done so well.

I've been looking through Reactions to this ever since it dropped, and a lot of them have actually been people not too familiar with Weird Al, believe it or not. That said, I was waiting for someone else to call out Rwappin' section. I lost my sh$% when I saw that part in the video.

Its not a short, at least not the version I've seen. It's a full fledged song he did at the request of matpat, according to lyric in the song, as part of some awards show.

What's a "polka"? Polka is a *genre* of music, but this song contains lyrics from other songs put together, what's a "polka"? Is it something that contains other songs? Isn't polka a genre of music?
@@nathanaelraymainegentles yes, Polka is a style of music or a music genre. This is a medley of pop songs, covered in a Polka style. Al does this often, and has had a Polka medley on each album (except his first and "Even Worse").
i love reaction videos, i don't like the lengthy introductions so much, i know why they do it, i know why they gotta do it, but it gets tiring after a while, especially for newer viewers, this type of content is for people who have already been following, or who are drived to both information and reaction.. i don't know
the possibility of Weird Al being able to connect with Vivziepop is scary to think of in my opinion

@@mitchelldingodilehomie4230 yes and no. I haven't reacted to much of Al's stuff here because, as a huge fan, I'd seen them all by the time I started doing reactions. That said, there have been a few released since I started that I've reacted to here on the channel, plus I'm currently going through Al's videos more in depth from a behind-the-scenes perspective over on my Patreon.

@@Gruegirl I meant not an original comedy song or parody...what Al is usually known for, aka something he wrote himself. The polkas are essentially just a cover medley, just done in a Polka style. (And, as I said in the video, every album except the first AND "Even Worse" have a Polka. 😅 )

@@Insaneian You and the artist TBSkyen who has been reacting for Vivziepop's cartoons lately, started with Hazbin and now finishing putting on UA-cam Helluva Boss reaction recordings. Aaand he did an hour long video for a 4 minute song "Just look my way" for Helluva Boss. His current record for now is 3 hours and 20 minutes for the S2E7 of the show which itself is only a half an hour long so I guess you have a worty competitor.
