- Small sago is tasteless on its own. However, when added to hot dessert soups or cold desserts, it will add a chewy texture to the desserts and make them tastier.

@@salmonnsushiii good luck 🙏🙏🙏😅

Easiest and fastest way is to pre-soak for 30 minutes, they will expand but will not break up. Then cook according to needs.
This made mine way too soft and sticky, almost slimy
❤
Thanks ✌️ 😊
Thanks so much

Hello, where did you bought this tapioca ?
Roseann Parrilla any Asian supermarket.
- Add water to boiling water and add sago.
- Bring to boil, set fire to medium and cook 5 mins.
- Take off heat and soak for 10 mins.
- Drain sago under running water until cooled.

Thank you. Sago balls are bouncy textured just like those you find at good boba shops. I have tried Pre soaking it before boiling and it doesn’t produce the same bouncy result. So the recipe works perfectly.
Those are made using modified starch.
Wow! Thanks for sharing 😇
Thanks for this😉
Welcome 😊
Great video. Have you made Tapioca pudding this way?- By first boiling the pearls instead of soaking? Many recipes call for a long soak (overnight) some recipes call for a short soak of around 30 mins. Curious if you have any experience with tips to make better tapioca pudding. - Thanks!
I'm not sure as I haven't made tapioca pudding before, I usually add small sago pearls to desserts.
Hello thanks for the excellent video! Just wondering...do I need to soak the sago before boiling? thanks!
No need. Details and recipe at: mykitchen101en.com/how-to-cook-small-sago-pearls-translucent-chewy/

R u meant to rinse it twice even if it’s for cold desert? Or do u just keep cooking until it is translucent ??
Yes, rinse twice too for cold dessert. Details and recipe at: mykitchen101en.com/how-to-cook-small-sago-pearls-translucent-chewy/

What is the name of the song?
Thanks for the recipe. Also when it's done it's just like Boba you can put it in the milk tea? Because I make it for the first time :'D
Yes.
Do I have to rinse the Sago in the middle if I want it for cold desserts?
Yes. For detailed steps please refer: mykitchen101en.com/how-to-cook-small-sago-pearls/
Can I store them for few days in the fridge.
Best served fresh, it will harden and become less chewy when chilled.
Can you put these in milk tea?
Yes.
I have.lychee Juice..how do I flavour these please???
I don't understand. I just want to get to fully cooked sago for cold dessert. Do I still need to remove when half cooked, and return it to boil if I want sago for cold dessert?
Yes, it will cook through easier.
for cold dessert, the second cooking must be boil water first like the first cooking isn’t it? but do not need to add cool water like the first one. tq
No need to add cool water for second cooking.
We can eat only sago
Is me starch ikathi ho jati hy. Itny clear nahe bnty
So what is the point of 150ml water? Is 1.5L not enough? Thanks
To lower the temperature to below 100°C.
Hi, what is the purpose of double boiling the sago for cold desserts?
Help it to cook through easily.
@@MyKitchen101en I see. so just boiling it for a longer time should suffice instead of taking it out and reboiling for the second time
How can I use cooked white tapioca pearls?

Hello, are these usable for boba tea? I bought these because they didn't have black tapioca pearls in.. Thanks!
For boba tea, I usually use big sago: How to Cook Big Sago Pearls-Whole & Chewy
When the big sago is cooked, I will add brown sugar directly to it, you may refer this video (in Chinese version): mykitchen101.com/%E9%BB%91%E7%B3%96%E6%B2%99%E8%B0%B7%E7%8F%8D%E7%8F%A0%E7%B2%89%E5%9C%86/
