Same, for me what I care about more is the gameplay. My favorite AC is Origins because of the gameplay elements. I'm hoping Shadows lives up to the hyp!
Need to see some gameplay and i hope they cut back on the Monotony of Unfulfilling side quests/collectibles, but i LOVE the setting and the idea of Yusuke and a kunochi teaming up, i just hope the story is good cause imo thats what a lot of ACs are missing is quality writing but thats just my opinion im sure some people think its great
And as you said my guess is you can either choose who to play and they have different stories, or you switch between them during the game and both would be awesome, def something fresh for ac

That weapon you see Yasuke (the samurai character) using is known as a Kanabo. It is a heavy wooden club with metal studs lining it. In Japanese mythology, this is the weapon that is typically used by Japanese DEMONS, and it is believed that, because the Kanabo is so large and unwieldy, you need to possess the strength of a demon to be able to use it effectively.

That was very well presented, but hopefully this doesn't get as bloated as Odyssey and Valhalla. But man, Yasuke and a kunoichi teaming up is a great idea for an Assassin's Creed title.
IGNs deep dive suggested that the game map is going to be roughly the same size as Origins, with a focus on density, realistic castles, and large mountains. so if nothing else, the world should be fun to explore

if you're going to talk about historical accuracy, at least do research first. Yasuke was a Kosho which means he was *going* to be a samurai, and the only reason he never got the rank as far as we know is because Nobunaga was betrayed and there aren't any records of what happened to Yasuke after he went to pursue Akechi
@@Elaril03 All I asked was cite sources to back up the claim. The only place Iv seen them rank him a Kosho was Wikipedia, which anything from that site I take with a grain of salt. I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying point me in the right direction and I'll read for myself.
The unnecessary pure WOKISM of the protagonists being injected really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's medieval Japan and they literally make you play as an African because diversity! They couldn't even give you a well designed Japanese protagonist and Japanese female side hero. No matter how good the game is, I can't endorse this.
I have no hope for this game. We've wanted AC Japan since 2007 and now that AC has lost its identity and every game is a soulless fetch quest RPG with minimal story and character development. Now they want to make it🤦♂️
