Can a 5 year old ride BMX pegs?!

Learning how to ride a BMX with pegs!!!!
We gave our 5 year old keen little rider a set of BMX stunt pegs after he watched some flatland BMX competitions on UA-cam... he'd been trying to copy some of the tricks on his balance bike but it just wasn't cutting it for him.
We put the pegs on his bike and went out to our most local indoor skatepark (Creation) to try them out... and that was it. He was hooked!! Then we went to an outdoor skatepark that had a sizing variety of ramps with coping on and spent some time helping Harley to learn a few of the basic BMX peg tricks to get him started: and here's the video of the day!
Before we went to the skatepark we all watched a few ‪@Brant_Moore‬ videos - he really explains the techniques so well!!! Highly recommend giving him a watch - but also keep in mind that if you're teaching a small rider: be there ready to catch them if needed. I know, I know... kids should have a 'few falls' to learn from their mistakes but to be honest I don't fancy Harley hurting himself. I'd rather catch him, but allow him to slowly fall so he realises it wasn't quite right.... then he can adjust how he jumps/lands accordingly until he gets it.
In this video we share a bit more of Harley behind the scenes and our new camera from ‪@insta360‬ to go with Harleys Insta360 Go3 super tiny action camera - we filmed all of this edit using a mix of the Insta360 Go3 and the new camera from Insta360 (plus two sneaky clips from an iphone)... but which camera was it we used? Watch to see! 🤔😜
This new Insta 360 camera was very easy to use, accessories just magnet on (incredibly easy!!!) and downloading was super smooth using Insta 360s app!!! We used this camera with the settings straight out of the box... how does it look??
What tricks should we help him learn next?? He's super keen for the BMX peg learns!!

You can make the pegs a little longer pvc pipe can slide over the pegs to make them a tad longer Harley is having a very good time
