Welcome to our home on St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands! We're always trying to get into the water whenever we can and on this particular evening, things were no different!
I wrestled going for a minute after a long day of driving the boat, but wow, I was glad I ended up on our evening snorkel!
We went to Brewers Bay, on the west end of St. Thomas near the airport. And after getting in the water I encountered one thing after the other: first was a burrowing southern stingray. Right after, a skittish green sea turtle. And finally, just as I was leaving the water, a beautifully majestic spotted eagle ray flew past my eyesight.
Brewers Bay is always filled with friendly sea turtles - you're practically guaranteed to see them. But the eagle ray was new. How beautiful! I hope you end up seeing some of these gorgeous creatures on your next snorkel adventure!
