Bayonetta - Final boss fight

This video features the final boss fight of Bayonetta against the goddess Jubileus, which takes the majority of the game's Epilogue: Requiem. Since the fight proper comes right after a short sequence with Jeanne riding her motorbike on Jubileus' rocket in order to reach Bayonetta, I decided to start recording as soon as the goddess came into the picture. Note that this video was recorded on the PC version of the game (released on the 11th of April 2017) and while playing on Normal difficulty.
As the final boss of a rather challenging game like Bayonetta, Jubileus isn't exaclty as hard as you'd expect her to be especially compared to the last two bosses you have defeated to get to this point. That said, the boss has different phases and some gimmicks to watch out for.
During the first phase of the fight you must attack Jubileus' tails weak points as the goddess summons two small, angelic drones to attack you, the tails themselves will try to damage you and the boss will attempt to dish out a three-punches combo. You can basically use all these attacks to your advantage, trigger Witch Time and do a lot of damage to Jubileus.
Once a certain numbers of tails will be "defeated" and you'll be able to attack Jubileus' head directly, the second phase will start. Basically, the boss will summon a world of fire, a world of ice and a world of air you'll have to navigate in order to (once again) attack Jubileus' tails. While this sequence isn't particularly hard, the hazards you'll meet along the way can actually stunlock you and make you lose a lot of health.
After clearing the world of air, you'll be off to the third and final stage of the fight. This section doesn't differ that much from the first one, but this time around Jubileus has two new dangerous attacks against you:
- A vortex she'll create in the centre of the arena, which will start to suck you in: if you'll fall into it you'll die on the spot, so it's best to outrun it using the Panther Within
- Three small vortexes which will go towards at high speed towards Bayonetta: should they hit her, they'll turn her into a helpless, childish version of herself. While dodging the vortexes is incredibly hard, Jubileus will always follow this attack with her three-punches combo: move around wisely and you'll be able to dodge the first two punches, and yo
