How much lighter are these wheels compared to aluminum wheels? I am looking at getting the new Sirrus X 5.0. I was going to get a second set of wheels to use for higher speed road riding. Would these wheels make a noticeable difference from the stock Sirrus wheels?
Hey, I’m looking to buy a Roval Terra C wheelset, but my bike uses a Sram XD-R 12v cassete. Is there an option with already comes with the XD-R body? If not, could you please tell me the part number for the correct free hub body? There are so many different options on their site, I just got lost. Thanks.
With you knowledge of Roval Wheels, do you know if the fronts have a 15mm thru axle adapter cap set? These (the CL) are going to be my next wheelset. Thanks for all your reviews, especially the Roval Gravel wheels.
Hello there, because the CL / C run on DT350 / DT370 hubs respectively, I've seen 15mm end caps advertised for those hubs, so it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck, and thank you.
No thanks, have their control tech wheels. Been waiting since May for a warranty rim. No more from Specialized for me. Riding Hunt gravel wheels now. Good luck
Gravel Cyclist thanks been five months for a rim.. I gave up and got some Hunts. I avoid carbon. Everything breaks for me. Frames , seats bars ,rims. Tired of the sick sound of breaking carbon and walking home. Carrying expensive junk. I need bulletproof. Too far off pavement . About 15k yearly. Old guy now 70s sightseeing now. Finding things missed the last 50 yrs. love your channel

Do you feel you can tell the difference between 1300 gm wheelset and a 1600 gm one? If so, in which situations? Sprinting, climbing?
Accelerating hard / sprinting is where I most notice the weight, but that is often a moot point for trundling along the countryside.

How do they compare to the Zipp 303s?

Hello Michael, the Terra CL model is worth having a look at. Good weight, and price should be less than 1,500 euro.

Unfortunately, this has been an issue for several manufacturers during the Covid pandemic. Hope the warranty rim shows up sometime soon.
