I am surprised at how well this transcribes to solo guitar. Mr Rafael Aguirre is a stunning player, he gets the whole orchestra in his arrangement, all the expression, all the dynamics. Thanks so much X

Fun fact: John Williams was taught composition by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. I wonder if there are any noticeable similarities between this guitar transcription and Tedesco's guitar repertoire.

+89Redge I'm pretty sure it was transcribed by ear rather than by using the orchestral sheet music as a guide. Impressive as this is, the melody and harmonies are off in more than a few places.
I actually emailed him a few months ago, and he said he is working on releasing the sheet music, but no definite timetable.

Jelhi During concerts, Williams himself often made orchestras play the Fox Fanfare for a reason. I agree with you it must be something about the anticipation people feel by hearing it. Breath are somehow hold during Fox Fanfare, then at the first note of STAR WARS, audience shouts, cheering. Playing Fox Fanfare makes STAR WARS main theme more powerful than it already is I guess.
Probably why they just bought them out

El guitarrista tiene mucho talento, pero el arreglo esta horrendo.
wdenegri porque? A mi me pareció genial el arreglo, bueno no tengo muchos conocimientos.
Ni siquiera ejecuta bien muchísimas de las notas. Acelera en las partes que se sabe mejor, y toca despacio las que le cuestan más.
mira que ahora que lo dices, mi primer instinto fue pensar que el arreglo era asi, pero no se me ocurrio que fuera el interprete cortando camino.
Realmente son ya 670 envidiosos.
