I’ve been playing spyral in the current Banlist with ancient fairy dragon and pseudo space to loop the field spell, It’s really fun but kinda inconsistent
There were suboptimal plays in every replay which I don't blame you for, this deck is really hard to play optimally. The deck can be even stronger than you showcased it, like in the Ice Barrier duel you can still end on Gryphon, Tri-Gate, Helix, Phoenix with Utility Wire if they use all their handtraps optimally and assuming you get unlucky hits off Princessprite and Gryphon draw. Imo if you master this deck it can easily be one of the strongest decks still. The only problem it has is that it's a 2 card combo deck which means it's inconsistent and has few flex slots. Cool vid!
Btw the best way to play Spyral is with Dragon Ravine and 3 Big Red so you can Search it off Power Tool Dragon. Ravine also helps get a Mission that you opened out of your hand. This way you don't need to fill your deck with bad unsearchable monster reborn spells.
When you finish the "what if" series would you do Black Luster Soldier? With Dragon Magia Master it may be somewhat playable maybe 🥺 and i want to know what can be cooked for when it arrives in Master Duel
They can play fiendsmith and end on essentially the same board that snake eyes ends up on except they’ll have sleeper pop for 2 and the Spyral version of compuls

It's a cool concept. I'd go further into the tank like "What if SPYGAL Misty was SPYRAL Misty?"

Basically, they do nothing special nowadays and could come back.
