Nice slow growers. It’s like watching a pot boil. Please video your meeting with the trimmers. Would be nice to see where others trim branch after fruiting. And the lesson on rebar was here lol. Saw it in the other vid👍🏽
The raccoons stay about 150 feet from my parents house...probably cause of the ranch dogs and my brother lol. The squirrels on the other hand risk their lives constantly attacking all of our crops. Sometimes they win and other times they lose
The variety is called cogshall. It's a smaller tree more like a semi-dwarf but I'm not really crazy about the taste of the fruit so.. This past fall I began to top work the tree and put different varieties on the tree. I'll try and do an update video showing the tree pretty soon. Thank you for commenting and watching 👍
Thank you for watching 👍 at the time this video was taken I believe the tree was 5 years old. I purchased the tree when it was about 3. It has produced ever since I purchased it. It is a grafted tree so typically grafted trees will produce fruit very early.
Amazing. I just got a small Cogshall tree and planted it in a 10 gallon pot, will repot once it's bigger. How did you get it to fruit at such a small size? I'd like to keep mine in a pot to move it indoors during the winter (zone 9A) so I can't let it get too big.
I feed them southern AG citrus nutritional spray twice a year through a foliar spray . Also once a year I feed them a low nitrogen fert and azomite rock dust. To control disease I have used a copper spray once a month. When the trees were young and getting started I wasn't afraid to give them a little bit more nitrogen more frequently but once established they seem to not need frequent feedings. I hope this helps.
That's a great question! Actually I believe it's totally possible. I'm gonna try to make a video and explain why I think it can be done. I might do it today. Thanks for the idea 👍
If you can protect it when it freezes by either growing it in a large pot or building a structure that you can use to cover it with frost clothes. I made a video showing my setup. Let me know if you need any more information.
Pretty amazing video
She's looking real nice! Slow growers so she right on track. Hope you have a great weekend! Happy Father's Day!

I will sure do that.
Another drawback to low mangos is that squirrels and raccoons get to it.
Most definitely!

It's a great tree for containers. Mine fruited early because it's a grafted tree.
@@ingarrajoey Thanks for replying. Mine is grafted too so hopefully it'll fruit while small.
Good Chanel
Thinking of planting one, any tips? I am in 9b/10a.
First thing I would recommend is to taste many varieties before purchasing any trees.
Where did you get that tree? I love it. I live in Central Florida.
I purchased it at Jene's nursery in St Petersburg FL
What do you use to feed your mango trees and what treatment do u also use to treat mango diseases?
