@@benjaminguillet3210 Yes, and Alexandre uses a technique that others don't use. Even carbon steel is used in their instruments. And the neck woods are.....well Brazil is the country that has the best woods in the world.
The Mule is clearly in a class of its own, but unfortunately for most of us, it carrys a cost of its own too. 5000 dollars or more...!! If I convert dollars to the currency in my country the price becomes times 11 or even times 12...!!! That's more than two months wages (before taxes) for a working man like me... So if I want to stay a law abiding citizen I will have to make do with a resonator replica from the far east. And they really aren't so bad, I have Harley Benson single cone with a single coil pick up, and with new strings and a few personal tweeks it sounds really desent, especially when I electrify and tweek the sound through a tube amplifier with equalizer untill I'm satisfied.

I have planned to bought a resonator, for my recording purposes. For the long time I used my dad old 12-string acoustic for that. He got that at the time of 1960's from Soviet Union, and it was bought by his older brother, who past away last year. To my dad, that guitar was not very good, because my dad is left handed, and guitar was for right handed. So I have been using his guitar for long time. And now I sell it, because it was not very good for my recordings.
Resonators are killer guitars for recording. You won't regret it !
@@benjaminguillet3210 Thanks for advice!! 😉👍
This Brazilian luthier have the best resonator in my opinion. I use this guitar and I know All others youtube.com/@DeltaGuitars
Cool, I've never heard of him unfortunately. The resos looks great. We have the chance to have a lot of fantastic luthiers nowadays.
@@benjaminguillet3210 Yes, and Alexandre uses a technique that others don't use. Even carbon steel is used in their instruments. And the neck woods are.....well Brazil is the country that has the best woods in the world.
@@yassirchediak they all have their own vision. And they are all great builders.
I could listen to this all day 👍
Thanks ;)

That Mule was unmatched.. sadly I cannot afford one.
I understand. That's certainly a budget.
@mankenybom9344 I'm totally agree with your words. That's a big amount of money. In fact the Mule was offered to me by the builder, so it doesn't cost me anything.
I’ve seen some absolutely stunning French resonators. And your English is way better than any of my other languages!
