OMG I haven't heard this in 35 years! We used to play this at Bournemouth Youth Jazz Orchestra and I loved it. I was like 4th trumpet and enjoyed every minute of Tracey, Dave or Simon who were just idols to me playing this just like the track here. Great trip down memory lane!! Thanks Mike.
Just managed to find a cassette tape recorder and so heard my old band Durham University Jazz Orchestra doing this in 1987! Thanks to the internet am now listening to this lovely version in the evening sunshine
