Why does my tv say invalid format?
Your TV is not compatible.
I had to switch my Bell Satellite ( because I am in the Country ) Standard 4100 receiver to the newer 6500 Hi Def Receivers. I have a Newer Samsung 4k Ultra Hi Def QLED Q70 T 4 port HDMI TV. I have a Blu Ray DVD connected plus it goes through a surge protector for lightening strikes and power surges we sometimes get. Can you possibly tell me how do I connect all these together and do I need two HDMI cables ? to connect the dvd separately. I really am new to all this.
I have a comcast xfinity cable box and use their X15 controler--do I need to change the input on the comcast controler or will the Sony player do this for me as you have shown your video? You video was easy to understand. Thank You!
You will need to change the input using the TV remote, not the cable box remote.
I wish you would connect to color components as well. I have no sound on mines.
I got it set with the H DMI cable but I can't get it to open or power up
they need a dependable zone free player thats plug and play .

I have a smart TV Samsung . but I tried to connect the LG blu ray player to it and had issues. It would only really work on the HDMI 1 slot, not 2. I called samsung support and they were awful. Is there a way to just connect the HDMI cable box to the tv and then have a connection where I can put in multiple equipment? sort of like having a USB connector.. you can connect computer things to it etc. but what about for a TV? Is there something like that? i do not want to have to connect and unconnect anytime I want to watch a dvd .

one cheaper to stop your player from not playing is stop buying sony players. both mine stopped working . im sick of resetting them . L G is on the way. also they some how have the worst customer service of all the corps. yhey sound great after you start looking they are a a i driven bot failures. its sad i liked their products for decades.
