Sit On Kayaks in Flood Rapids - Near Disaster! (Medina River)

- So the Old Town Sportsman 120 sit on top kayak rips rapids...This trip we challenge the Medina River at 1000 cfs after some heavy local rainfall. Nothing like paddling in the Texas Hill Country with high flow rate!
I started a dry bag company, Remote Designs!

Been busy this month helping my Dad downsize from the family home! We managed to get a gnarly paddle in though!
Fanny pack fanny pack cmon let me help beta test homie
Great video! I’m glad to see the 120 hold up in those rapids!!
Coming down the pipeline! Developing right now...
The 120 was a beast! Now I want to try the 106 haha. SOT was perfect for this water
@@GatewoodBrown Well as head of the remote designs review team i expect to be the first to know lol cant wait, the simms fanny already gave out rip stop is not rip proof lol
Dude, that water is clear as Galveston. Well done bro.
Haha the clarity did remind me of the marshes and ETX rivers. Definitely prefer clear, but I'll take high flow even if it is brown
I hope this channel BLOWS UP! Such awesome and fun content! Helps me with my pathetic depressed life.
Thank you so much! It’s honestly at a point I never thought it would be, so that’s pretty cool haha. We will see where it goes! Man I hope you can find happiness for real. Outdoors are one of the leading ways to help that, from a scientific perspective. I’m always so much more clear after a stint in nature. There’s lots of paddling groups all over the states. Check those out or something similar if you want to get in on group trips. You’re a legend, you got this!
@@GatewoodBrown Thanks for the words of encouragement man! I really appreciate it. Trying to find time to actually get on the water again ( 2 kids under 2 right now). I've watched a lot of your vids and Q&A but I don't see the answer - Do you do this for a living or is this a weekend thing you do after your 9-5 week? Either way I hope it turns out full time!
@@teknopaint7307 You're a saint for raising the next generation! My brother has a 6 year old and its fun but wild haha. Good question, this channel and everything about it is a hobby of mine. I work 8 to 6 M-F and have all the complexities of life to deal with. Its tough to find time to get outside and even tougher to find time to edit and produce content. But its something I enjoy so I sacrifice other things to make time for it. I don't have sponsors and the ad revenue was basically $0 last year so it doesn't bring in much revenue haha. That's ok with me though since its all for fun.
It’s about that time again: KAYAK SEASON! Gonna get my first kayak thanks to you Gatewood! So pumped about it! Can’t wait to get out on the lake and rivers. God bless you brother!
Kayak season is here!! You’ll have to start exploring ASAP. The time is now!
Man your cinematography is awesome Gatewood!! And the hip pack teaser to boot. I’m loving it!!!! Keep up the great adventures
Thank you so much Steve! I really appreciate the kind words. Hip packs are on the schedule...Just gotta make sure they live up to a high standard ya know
Honestly what a humble person. I really enjoy your videos man and I love the narrative factor of them. I really feel hooked when I’m watching genuinely. I love how slowmo the biggest smiles and you bring up all the little details. Even for yourself to look back one day and go over your own stories, it will be incredible.
Thankyou for the amazing videos and all of your effort!
This is seriously the nicest comment so thank you! One of the coolest and most unexpected parts of making videos over a long period of time is going back and watching them with friends that were on that trip. An extreme case of memory lane
This video inspired me. I just did my first swift water trip on my Old Town Topwater 120. So much fun. The boat is undeniable in the waves. So much fun cruising those rapids while my buddies are getting swamped and flipped.
Yes! As long as you dont need to make sporty turns the old town 120 is like a raft in those rapids. So much stability and fun in mild swift water
@@GatewoodBrown Right on. Keep paddling, brother. Thanks for the inspiration and content. Hope I can get to some of these beautiful Texas rivers someday.
What a big difference the river was this time! You guys were moving!
Looks like the new kayak worked out pretty well. Good to see you guys out there just having fun! 👍
Oh man it was like I’ve never seen before! Covered a distance in 2.5 hours that usually takes all day
Badass video. I love kayak camping myself. We do it every memorial weekend. Keep them videos coming
It’s a great way to escape and decompress!
Great video !!! I did that section with 700 cfs it was awesome !!! But 1000cfs is wild
Thanks Manny! 700cfs is pretty rowdy too! Once it gets to a certain level its all about the same level
@@GatewoodBrown hell yeah it was rowdy haha! Good times
Yeet!
Thank you for the amazing content man, it really gets me out the door to adventure
Glad you enjoy it! Still so cool to have comments like yours about getting out and exploring
Hyped on the upload fire vid as always🔥🔥
Thank you for the kind words! 🔥🔥🔥
Nice! Always nice to paddle those old familiar waters in different conditions!
Totally agree! A unique look at a normally low flowing river. So crazy!
This makes me happy to watch. I've been to most Texas rivers but not the Medina.
It is absolutely worth a visit!
Great video ! I love the fact that you never have to use a bilge pump with a sit on top kayak.
That’s literally one of the main reasons I use a SOT as my main! Save so much time, effort and back pain haha
Awesome vid again! All the rain kept me too busy at work with clean up to go kayaking but at least I got to watch this video.
You'll be able to catch it next time! There was some tricky stuff out there that day. Sometimes its best to let the flows get back down lower anyway
Epic day! Just goes to show living near 1 river can feel like living near 5 if you run it at different CFS! Well done!
Thank you! And honestly that is so accurate. Flow rates can make a river feel different every time you paddle it. Hope you all have been enjoying paddling season! Your videos are excellently done! Keep it up for real
Just awesome! Found your channel after getting a place in the country by Mason so can't wait to dip some toes into the Llano this summer (after I finish working on this old house ha!) Keep up the excellent work! We can tell how much fun ya'll have and it's infectious!! Cheers!
Wow how cool about restoring a house, congrats! That’ll be a wonderful base camp for the area. The llano is spectacular and so is the land that surrounds it!
Awesome video! Just got the same kayak for fishing! First time sit on top. This makes me feel confident it can handle anything.
It sure can handle a lot!
Looks like so much fun
It was a blast! Certainly a unique experience paddling the Medina like this
YT Recommendation Gods just know exactly what I want to watch. Wow, great video man 👍
The algorithm delivereth! Haha it’s getting pretty good these days
Looks like a blast. Glad you put in the part about scouting rapids. That was a good safety reminder. Maybe you could have pointed out a few more of the steps you took to assess and mitigate risk. I notice y'all took the big drop one at a time while other two spotted.
Hey josh thanks for tuning in! Yeah safety is important on every trip, but especially on these high flow rate trips. The bigger rapids towards the end we definitely wanted to go one at a time at first until we got comfortable with it
Awesome trip! And I'm totally digging the "product testing". That looks right up my alley...been looking for a user friendly waterproof option for my mirrorless camera. Nice!
Product development is certainly fun! Should be able to offer it before summer is up. Worked great on and off the river so far
Awesome! Great video. Looks like your Old Town Sportsman performed quite well.
Thank you so much Tom! The sportsman is quickly becoming my favorite kayak to date.
I was around the Blanco and San Marcos rivers this weekend and I was thinking to myself "I wonder if Gatewood and the gang is talking advantage of all this water!!!" I am happy to see you are all having the time of your lives!!
You have wonderful taste in rivers! This was from a couple weeks ago but I really wish we could go every weekend. Life has been so busy!
Great to see you back on the water, bro!! 👍👊🛶
Man it felt so good to be back on the water!
Wow, I'm literally plotting my trip there rn (also from Htown) and you just uploaded this video. Too cool! Looks super intimidating. I knew the flow would be up from all the rain but wasn't picturing this. Gonna be our first trip down the Medina. Looks like Kayak camping as we planned might be outta the question. Curious where to find good current CSF data. Seems like a lot of sites are showing much lower speeds. Thanx for your videos and the work you put into em! I can't tell you how much you've inspired me and my son to get out on these rivers. I never knew about all this and now I'm hooked. We've been on some epic trips thanks to your videos (including the narrows twice). Was just telling my son how crazy it would be to bump into ya'll on a trip some time and looks like we're just a week behind you lol. Thanks again my dude!
thanks so much for the kind words!! So cool to hear about you and your sons getting out there and exploring the Texas wilderness. This was actually from a month ago! So flows are actually quite low now. It takes me awhile to edit these up, especially with how busy I've been lately
Sit on is all I've ever used, my footrest are built into the mold of the kayak which allows me to lock myself into the kayak better by using the force of my legs pushing me into the seating. The add on footrest seem too weak to my liking. I have hole plugs but pop those out when facing rough waters. Ended up buying a wet suit for wintertime floating which in my opinion is the route to take over a sit in kayak. Chunk the Pump!
I can dig that setup! Now that I’ve done sit on top it’s hard to go back truthfully. The scupper holes are so nice for draining!
Good to see you back. I got rid of my Pungo to get an Outback for fishing. I still have my Tarpon SOT for rivers.
Glad to be back! You'll have a good line up of boats once the outback is added to your quiver. Tarpon is great for rivers too.
Hell yea man that looked fun!!!
It definitely was!
Cool video, wish I was into kayaking when I grew up in Texas 30 yrs ago but now I'm doing it in South Florida, just picked up a brand new Old Town Salty PDL 120 today
Florida has wonderful kayaking! Enjoy that salty, looks like a fast boat
Awesome. Now that’s a kayaking trip!! Freaking awesome Gatewood!!
Hey Jason hope you've been well my man! We got lucky with some rowdy waters, but not too rough so that we could still paddle. How're things in KY?
@@GatewoodBrown all’s well in Kentucky. July and August is my kayaking time. I’m pumped about it.
@@BackpackingWithJason That'll be a blast. Where to?
@@GatewoodBrown Cumberland River. Licking River. And a few lakes. I love those areas you’ve been kayaking. Especially that last trip. It was awesome
@@BackpackingWithJason man that’ll be fun. Lots of cool water on those stretches. I’ve earmarked some places to paddle in KY. In fact, I’ll be up in Lexington/Versailles around July 4th to visit family. If I can manage some extra time I’d love to say what’s up!
I can’t wait till you drop a restock of the remote design backpack !! 🙌
It’s coming soon!
sweet new pack!! still waiting on that 100l duffle! fun time
Never say never! I’d love to launch a duffel. One day!
I stumbled on this channel a short while ago searcing for vids on the ot sportsman120 since i had ordered one and still waiting for it. Super glad i came across the channel..love the adventures and seem like a great bunch of guys. Looking forward to your next adventure and hoping to see more of the sportsman!
Your comment made my day, thank you! Really stoked to have the 120 on our adventures. It’s one heck of a boat for sure. Cheers!

Great video - definitely inspiring me to scout for rapids
thank you! Yeah we did a lot of scouting today. You just never know what to expect. We've even done this river many times but ya never know
Nice one ! Good job on those videos
Thank you! Cheers!
So bummed I wasn't there!!! Looks Soo epic brah
We missed having you! Next time Brah, so much fluffy flow
exciting flow. many greetings ronactive

Congratulations on hitting the milestone. You deserve it!
Thank you, thank you ,thank you! You’re the first person to say something. Such a crazy number honestly. Never thought we’d be here lol
@@GatewoodBrown It was just a matter of time. I never doubted you.
@@TheOutdoorSeeker I really appreciate that! Cheers to getting better with each video and growing a cool community
Sweet vid man!
Thank you!
2000 CFS?!? Dang that looks like fun!!
Yessir it was cruising haha! What blew my mind was how quickly we covered ground
Id argue that the old town sot was a better choice than the pelicans the others were in even with the higher center of gravity. Flooded waters, while fun, can be so dangerous and brings many hazards into play that normally arent. Especially with pool toy boats such as sundolphins/pelicans.
When the day ended I totally agree, the sit on top was a great choice despite having a higher center of gravity. Not needing to bilge was great as well, one of the main reasons I switched to SOTs
Awesome video bud, I went north of bandera and the water was clear with waterfalls everywhere. Give me a shout if you want to go up there to the town of Medina. Yeah they
Up by Medina is some of my favorite river!
Nice dude! Great vid. Those bags are sick!!!
Thanks Matt! Hope you guys had fun at red rocks
@@GatewoodBrown had an absolute blast! Wish you could have made it up. Next time!
@@TheVelo33 I’m so in for next time. Sad that I missed out on this one! Enjoyed Bennett’s video thoigh
Pretty sweet. I've been wanting to check out the Medina.
Medina is great!
yoooo just wondering if everything is ok on your end. family is in my prayers1111 LOVED THE VIDEO!!!! y'all was having a blast.
im a paddleboarder but ive been seen video of people doing the same on paddle board, one day when my skill level is up there I might have go join ya in Texas, and don't worry know know cali rivers aint got nothing on Texas but still just to get out there is what its about.
family in my prayers and God bless
Everything is going well over here! Hope you’re doing good too! You could probably paddle board this section at lower flows. That would be manageable!
I took my sportsman 120 down the upper hiwassee river in Tennessee last month, had a blast. It handles rapids really well
That’s awesome to hear! Totally agree with you. Rapids felt good in it
Looks like yall had a good time
Hey David! Man we sure did. Crazy having that much flow rate
WHOA!
Big time!
Looked a bit muddy but FAST ! getting my kayak gear together little by little , kayaks ain't like the old pack mule canoe . Got a new
SS camp stove that fits in a 3 5/8" cube plastic box but opens big enough for a skillet . Have a new air pad coming also 2.5" thick
has a built in foot pump . Medina is on my list for this year but I think I'll wait for the flow to go down a bit lol . I think my Kayak will open a new world of paddling I wouldn't do with my old aluminum canoe . Awesome trip man great shots too . Looks like your new
sit on top is working good for ya .
That’s spot on my dude! Took us 2 hours to do something that usually takes all day. So wild
Great video
Thank you!
Damn that was a killer trip
Thank you! Yeah man totally wild out there haha
Gotta love the river
You sure do my man!
Looking good brother! I’m liking that Remote Designs Shortie pack!
Thanks guys! Hope y’all have been well
We have, just itching to get out for a trip. We should be going out next month!
I hear ya! Y’all will enjoy that next trip. It’ll be hot hot hot tho!
Far out!✌️
Thanks my man!
I took 3 with me down the Pearl River in MS at 46000 CFS. Epic!!! Would love to check out the rivers in Texas!
Dang that's a rowdy flow rate! Cant even imagine what that would look like. Texas has some special places!
Just started kayaking in the DFW area & found your vids looking for kayak camping material. I need to get down your way soon!
Hey that is awesome! Kayak camping is exactly what we do. So many wonderful places to paddle in Texas
Man that looked like a blast! I've counted 4 times bilge pumping? And 3 flips? That new kayak is nice too brother! Awesome trip.
You got it! Haha really enjoyed not having to bilge my SOT
4:33 EPIC shot
I thought that was unbelievable too.
Thanks my man! I should’ve included more of those. The waves made for lots of interesting bow shots
Looks like a blast
I got rained out today 😢
Oh bummer! Sorry to hear about the rain out. Lots of bad weather for the past couple weeks
Your 1000 cfs beats my 39.3 cfs this weekend hands down. Great video!
Haha I've done it at 40 before too. 1000 definitely gets the blood pumping! No walking though which is nice
Looks insane! Awesome vid! Camping question; what would you recommend as best "bed" to bring with you kayaking? I CAN'T feel the rocks or anything... What you got? Thanks Gatewood!!!! Keep up the videos, your content is amazing! Love it!
Thank you! I’ve got just the sleeping pad for ya. Check out the big Agnes a core SLX. I’d recommend the wide and long version to feel most like a bed. It’s pricey but less than what a hotel room would cost!
Man I was a great video. That 120 handed those rapid very well. I usually just see people using it two fish but you use it to kayak & that's what I really like to see. I don't know if you know man but my doctor released me from my foot surgery & man I've been kayaking every since. And it get better! My foot shrinking. It's no longer 6 1/2 inches wide now it's 6 inches wide now. I am so happy about that. But I still have very fat wide toes so. I guess I'm going to have to live with that. Hopefully I can find some shoes and socks to wear by time winters time gets here. And then on top of that! Just two weekends ago my third son John just got his first Kayak and we have been kayaking every single weekend. Man I love kayaking with my son it is so awesome. Last weekend me & my son John , my co-workers , & a couple of his buddy we all went kayak fishing & man we all had a blast. Made some new kayak friends which was awesome. & just yesterday me and my son went kayaking about 10 - 15 mile or the river & got sunburn really really good yesterday from my our heads down to our feet. Which you know i have to kayak Barefooted 👣 and found out my son do too because his foot is very very extremely wide too. His foot is exactly like mine. You can almost call us ( TWINS ) foot. "LOL" he does not have very fat wide toes like I do but he do have big toes though that's are equally straight across like mines foot though. Tell you we are both feeling the sunburn today man. I think I need to stay away from Red Lobster for a while. "LOL" I love kayaking with my son now & he loving it too. Am ready to take him kayak camping now . It is so much fun with Father and Son kayaking. Thank you for sharing this video brother. Look forward to the next one.
Heck yeah Mack so good to hear you’re back in action and on the upslope! I’d bet it feels great to get back out there and paddle in the open water now. Cheers!
@@GatewoodBrown yes indeed Man it feels so awesome to be back on the yak again I got my son to join me now. Now we are talkin about a lot of kayaking trip & camping. he is loving kayaking and I'm loving it to be back.
Heck yeah, so pumped for you!
Dude. You need to get into whitewater kayaking. You’ve got the spirit for it!
Man we sure love some whitewater. Just none around! Wish we had some closer options for sure
@@GatewoodBrown That's not true man. I've lived in Texas all my life, there is a decent whitewater community here. If you're interested I could help show you the way to some resources that could help get you started. It does take rain to make our whitewater happen though.
Sick vid man , had me on the edge of my seat every time y’all took on a rapid!
You and me both! The nerves were high for each rapid, and this was probably only a third of them. So many fun sections that didn't make the cut
Where did you guys start and end your trip? Are usually go from Pleasant Valley crossing to Bandera city park when the river flows well.
It’s hard to give access points since flow rates really change the characteristics of a river. It’s best to talk with local outfitters and guides before your trip. They’ll be able to steer you towards the best section to paddle.
First love your vids
Thank you so much, Eli! Cheers my man
Are you familiar with the Pelican Strike 120x Angler. After seeing what you went through with your sit on top fishing kayak I'm leaning towards getting one.
I’m not familiar but I usually recommend people make the leap for a rotomolded kayak (one piece) pelican uses two pieces which doesn’t have as much integrity or control. I love the sit on top life though!
Been interested in the 120 for Fishing up around Boston… didn’t expect to see my company get an ad spot haha
The 120 is a rad kayak! Old town sent me one after I reached out. Been interested in seeing what a sit on top would be like, and I’m sold now haha
Great video! Glad I wasn’t on this one! 🦦
Haha no walking so you would’ve loved it man!
Looks like a lot of fun! Your videos are great. What's a good video editing software for a total newbie? Just got a go pro.
Thank you so much! iMovie for Apple and windows movie maker for windows will work good. GoPro also has great editing software
You all just need to become whitewater boaters lol
We live in the wrong state for that! Haha
Great stuff! How are you liking the aquabound paddle? Do you still use the rpc3?
The AB is the best paddle I’ve ever used. Hands down. I no longer use the rpc3
When did you go? We were there between 04/30 and 05/02 trying to wade the river, but it was obviously just like this.. You gotta get some apple ice cream from Love Creek Orchards next time!
Went about a month ago! Ugh we didn’t have time to stop at the Apple orchards. Such a bummer!
I'm hoping to get back into paddling. Gonna start with either village creek or pine island bayou
I love village creek!
@@GatewoodBrown me too lol I grew up in it.
I was wondering if there’s any time you should tie a lifeline to your canoe or your kayak when you are on the river?
Great question! I have a dog leash on the front. Is that what you consider a life line?
Y’all need to come to South Carolina so many good spots
I would but it’s so far away!
I love watching your videos. It’s making me want to trade in my sportsman 106 for the 120!
I honestly don’t think you’d find much of a difference between the two! Stick with your 106, then get a 120 as your next boat to try
4:35 really good! Wow how can I get there from UK in 1 day, like literally now? Thanks for valuable advice about dambs and scouting blind turns.
Thank you! Fly into Houston direct and drive to Bandera. From there rent a kayak and let’er loose! Scouting is key at flood stage
That looked like fun. Low seated sit on is the way to go. How come no over night trip? Cheers
No doubt! I’m sold on the sit on top. So much fun! I had to be back at work the next day
4:45 how'd ur buddy's kayak n stuff end up in the boil? he try n send it over the road?
Haha he was trying to get out and was moving faster than expected. So by the time he was out there was only time to save himself and not the kayak!
And it's raining for a week again. Hope it will be a river kinda summer.
Yeah this rain doesn't seem to be doing much unfortunately. Good for the aquifer though!
Up here in the Lost Pines it's having an effect. My yard looks like a mini rapid river with debris and everything moving. Gonna be some cliffs falling in the water.
Dang that’s wild to hear. Hopefully the erosion isn’t too bad
where did you drop in at? what cross road or outfitter?
It’s hard to give access points since flow rates really change the characteristics of a river. It’s best to talk with local outfitters and guides before your trip. They’ll be able to steer you towards the best section to paddle.
what do you use to find the flow rate of the sections you guys are going to paddle?
Check out the USGS website. I have some videos on that topic as well
👍
I’m loving the videos! I’m curious, do you think a sit on top or a sit inside kayak is better for kayak camping? I always thought sit insides were better for that, especially in faster moving water (I was thinking your stuff stays dryer when it’s actually under part of the boat), but would it would be about the same as having it on top (just strapped with the bungees on a sit on top) if they’re in dry bags? Have you noticed any difference with this? Are there advantages or disadvantages for either type of kayak when it comes to camping? What you said about the self-bailing ability of a sit on top seems like it would be good for traversing wavy/rapid waters, but a spray skirt may also keep water out of a sit in if you’re going through rapids. Just curious of your thoughts on this!
Thank you! I’ve done both and am now 100% on the sit on top train for river kayak camping and general kayaking. The self bailing, comfort and storage capacity excels above a sit in kayak. Also with sit in, you’re limited to using several small dry bags instead of bigger, fewer dry bags so organization is more important. Also you’ll have sitting water inside a sit in so there’s more potential for saturation if your dry bag isn’t good. Sit in kayaks are lighter and more maneuverable so if you’ve got a skirt they handle better! I never liked dealing with a skirt though. Hope that helps!
@@GatewoodBrown Thank you so much, I appreciate you taking the time to write that all out! I’ll definitely use a sit on top when I decide to plan a kayak camping trip based on that information
@@adventuring_with_MK my pleasure! You can also rent kayaks for $35 a day or even go to a local kayak shops demo days. That’ll help you develop the feel of each. You’ll find folks on both sides of the SOT/SI opinion
@@GatewoodBrown I actually have a sit on top that I’ve been using for about 3 years now and I’m pretty comfortable in it, but I’ve never really tried a sit-in. Renting is a really good idea to try out a different type, thanks!
What software and computer do you use for editing?
Final Cut Pro on a MacBook Pro 2016
I live this area and want to plan a day trip and a over night trip. Where are yall putting in and takeout locations?
You definitely should! Just look for road crossings and enter there
what section of the medina river do you prefer?
Around Bandera is great
What length kayak do most of you paddle?
10’ mostly, trying out a 12’ these days
I lost my GoPro and a nice Werner paddle on the Medina River a few weeks ago if you happen to come across them.. 🤪
Oh bummer! Probably out in the gulf by now
I have a content idea for you. Have you ever heard of a Greenland paddle? Apparently you could carve one out of 2x4 that would measures to fit individually to every paddler. They apparently supposed to be better for longer distance paddling. Would like to know your opinion about it. I've just made one for myself with hand tools only. Can't wait to test it but I'm living upstate NY now so I gotta wait till at least April.
That’s a good idea! First time I saw those I was thinking how on earth does that work?? But that would be a fun project to work on for sure. Good idea!
@@GatewoodBrown want me to post a link here in comments where I found a manual? It has all the measurements to fit every kayaker
@@dbf_91 yes that would be helpful. That or an Instagram message
@@GatewoodBrown DM in IG.
here
So are you a full convert to sit on top? Or do you miss the sit in?
Stay tuned for an upcoming video where I address this in length. The sit on top is a great kayak no doubt, but sit ins can dominate too
@@GatewoodBrown Awesome! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
You should actually learn how to whitewater kayak. Texas has a decent enough community to learn and it is much much safer than in the craft you guys are in. It is also more fun. That being said y'all were being plenty safe and it looked like a blast. Just think you could have more fun than you even know if you learn to properly whitewater kayak.
I’ve been down class III/IV in North Carolina and spent plenty of time around swift water. I’ve even owned a whitewater kayak but sold it since it wasn’t used much in TX. I’ve found the sit on top to be the best all round kayak for in this state. Unfortunately a play boat just won’t get much love if I were to have one in my quiver!
Would you think 2500cfs or higher is too much for kayaking/canoeing?
Depends on the river!
@@GatewoodBrown specifically the Brazos. What do you think? The depth is like 68' right now also.
Do you have plans to visit different parts of the country to make the same videos? We’re in Lancaster in northern New Hampshire for work and they have some pretty nice rivers and creeks.
I wish we could road trip! Unfortunately I can’t take that much time off from work. I’ll be up in Maine for a trip this summer though!
@@GatewoodBrown we’re planning a trip to Maine also for white water rafting.
