We really enjoyed visiting Cumberland Island with friends years ago. So neat you could take your boat there. Crazy about the downpour and I'm glad everyone made it to the boat!
I love how you went thru my hometown (Campbellford) and loved it! It’s an amazing place, I moved away at 16 and miss it so much, was nice to see you enjoyed it in your travels!!
Cumberland Island looks AMAZING! We would love to go there with the ruins and horses! Poor Molly and Kyle got a crash course in the glamorous side of boating 😂, Elliot's shirt was SOAKED!
I am so enjoying your channel!! Still catching up, but it’s really entertaining. Made me starting looking at MT34!! I love trawlers but concerned about buying older model (which is what I can afford). Thanks - keep posting and Fair weather!
Oh sweet! Thanks for watching Kevin! Pivot is a fantastic boat for us, but definitely your mileage can vary - ours was worked on quite a bit from the previous owner. We were quite lucky! Let us know if you have any questions!
Great trip. Do you lock Yur dinghy? You should everywhere you go no matter how safe you feel. Also add a few links of chain between anchor and swivel. If you side load it during a tide change you can snap the swivel. Keep up the good work
i didnt really know where i should place this comment so i chose the 1st video. ive watched your videos at this moment up until your accident on smith island then your recovery videos and now your heading home till next spring of 2022. watching one of the last one before your left maryland for florida.you mentioned how long pivot was stranded in maryland. that started me thinking how your journeys are like the tv series Lost in Space. how you are traveling, have a setback stranded in an area, work on your boat till you start sailing again. sort of how in the show they are traveling in space, crash on a planet, stuck there for a while, take off and travel again well im looking forward to the episodes where you reach New York State. i live in the capital district. so im interested to see how you made out while you were here.and your opinions of the area.
A bit of unsolicited advice; run the anchor pendant from the samson post, then through the bow chocks, then to the anchor chain. Take the strain on the pendant. this removes the strain from the bow pulpit. The force at the end of the pulpit is greater due to the leverage caused by the length of the pulpit beyond the bow. this lowers the risk of damage to the pulpit.
I'm not done watching yet but I saw the patch of asfroturf and I'm thinking about Ollie. I got a strange idea. Hear me out 😆. What if you met someone who had another dog that could pee on the astroturf (or whatever you are using now). Sometimes if a dog smells another dog they will pee.
@@SchoandJo You totally should! Desperate times! I just imagine you getting up in the morning and wanting to have a nice relaxing coffee and having to get in the dinghy with the motor that may or may not work and take the dog to pee instead. It would be not ideal.
Thank you. We are in Beaufort now for a month and just finished watching that episode. The segue from outboard to rowing was pretty funny. Thanks again. You guys are an inspiration to us!
Hi guys!! We just saw you in no name harbor. We were in a blue hulled fly bridge downeast cruiser. We’re now in university cove miami… you should check it out! Cheers Pete&Sue
Oh awesome, thanks for saying hi Pete and Sue! Where are you all heading from there? We just left No Name yesterday and now are slowly heading south for a few weeks 😁

Thanks for the tip! We didn’t lock it here but probably should have, we are both a little too trusting. We have a lock and will use it more!
Love Cumberland Island. A remarkable place. Sorry about the drenching!
It's been one of our favorite anchorages so far and it was the second... would definitely go back!
Lol, we got stuck in heavy downpour in our dingy too.
Haha not the most fun way to end a dinghy ride, especially with the lightning and thunderstorm....

Thanks for the comment!! And that’s a funny analogy, we hope you enjoy the NY state series, it was a blast to cruise through.
Boating is always an adventure. If it wasn’t it would be boring!
Absolutely!

This is a fantastic idea! We'll give it a shot next time we anchor, thanks Cory!

Thats a really good idea... because nothing is working haha. Maybe we will drop it off at a dog park and just pick it up after a few hours 😂

@@ODriscolls Absolutely... definitely not ideal!
how do you watch episodes in sequence?
Hi Ralph, just go to our channel page on UA-cam and then choose a playlist. They will play in sequential order there
