I'll never understand why people complain when Clayface figures look like giant turd monsters, it's like they've never seen what Clayface looks like before. This figure does look cool and I was tempted to get it, but my DC shelf is super crammed and I only have space for one more larger scale character, and whilst I've never had a Clayface figure the Arkham Asylum Killer Croc is way higher on my list, love that character and that design a lot more than Clayface.

I definitely want to get this! The 90’s cartoon was where I first saw clayface. Haven’t seen it at any stores, even in another state on vacation. Funny how you said need more green in your life. As Todd said in interviews, it’s a cool looking toy, so people will see it and want to buy. Looking forward to how you display him, since you have a great artistic eye.

I might get two. One to add a bit of Alabama red clay (The South is where the majority of the red comes from) and one to glue little pieces of yellow rocks on it to look like corn.
Just realized it's not the rebirth design, it's Greg Capullo's one, i was looking at his art work and this drawing of clayface pops up, and i said hey that looks just like the multiverse fig, and since he and Todd are buddies i woulnt say is that big of a stretch
Definitely need Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, and Firefly. It would be great if they did a build a figure set. Don’t know who else is big enough since Clayface, Croc and Manbat are all singles.

Love the figure he’s imposing and creepy looking should fit with other dc lines as well given that it’s Clayface he doesn’t have stick to specific body sizes really good review

That's a great idea with the "swallowing Bats" bit, I've gotta admit that I'm gonna be planning that, too, only if I do cash in on this Clayface. Could try to use parts from the smaller scaled figs, for instance, a Marvel Legends? Black Series? Hell, since he's clay, he could transform into a larger being and you could even use 1:18 figs with that concept.
I swear this figure reminds me of the Golgothain shit demon from the movie “Dogma”. LOL. It looks good, but I wonder if a variant color of this figure is coming down the pipeline?
I swear I'm starting to see a pattern where FBF reviews a figure, and that's my alert to immediately or as soon as possible go to Target to get it! I did buy this guy, along with Titan Joker. I don't know why they label this guy as Rebirth Clayface. With the open mouth, he's clearly based on Greg Capullo's design of the character which was mostly seen in the middle of the New 52. I wouldn't associate this figure with Eddy Barrows's design from Rebirth Detective Comics. I'd say Clayface, while looking cool, feels very cheap with the hard plastic body, and somewhat fragile. I was able to get him into a sort of running and grabbing pose while balanced on one foot, which was cool. Don't know if this is standard for every figure, but I think the painters were going for somewhat of a clay "swirl" effect to give a little color mixup in his body, but it's not washed in very well, and looks more like naked brush strokes on a finished figure. I wish his head had more range of movement. With the figure's limitations, I almost feel like he's a slightly better articulated Marvel Select Juggernaut. He is sculpted well, and the face and body parts concept seems pretty well executed, but I think he looks better from far off. You really don't want to do a close inspection of the guy. I haven't yet tried to put Batman and Batgirl and/or Robin in Clayface's hands yet. Think you gave me the idea for that FBF! I'd probably give the figure an overall grade of C+. If I can get other Bat family members into his hands and make an in combat display, I'll bump up to a solid B. Seeing you having your Swamp Thing hold Harley makes me think we need a good Abby figure. But, let's get her as the Avatar of the Rot version!
Could you cover the quality aspect some more next time? I've heard that his torso is hollow and leaves a visible gap when looking at it from the side. Useful information when deciding whether or not you are going to purchase the figure.

Did you see a visible gap or hear me mention one in the video?
Mine doesn't have a visible gap. It only has that if you move the abdomen piece up too high. You can move it right back into place no problem.

It’s a very big figure, but yeah a lot of times he’s portrayed as being even bigger than this, like as tall as the swamp thing figure

For 40$? Of course. 2-3 mega figs is the same amount as one mafex figure
