AGUST D aka SUGA is the member of BTS. He goes by two stage names: Suga for his group work with BTS, and Agust D for his solo releases. He developed the alter ego "Agust D", which is derived from the initials DT, short for his birthplace, Daegu Town, and "Suga" spelled backwards.
The difference between Suga and Agust D is the lyrics and music style. As Agust D, his style is unimpeded, rough-cut and powerful. He can openly express and show his raw side.

Pretty sure he went by Gloss pre BTS... Gloss is the English word for Yoongi.
@@allons_y1001you're right. He went by the name "Gloss" as an underground rapper. Besides, he only made agust d as his alter ego persona when he appeared to the industry as suga. Also, he only came up with "suga" when bang PD told him that his stage name should be suga as a short term for "shooting guard" which is his position in his basketball team. So there's no way that he has been known as agust d before debut or even before he was a trainee.

You guys are great! I love your positive vibe. Heres what I think the song is saying: It was one guy, 2 parts of himself. He has this inner conflict. One part of him is rich, successful and tempted to be tyrranical, willing to "kill" for power. One part of him is creative, humble, and connected to the people around him. He recognizes the conflict and chooses to identify with the more humble creative side rather than the tyrant, which is why the king allows him to live, knowing he's going to kill him. Super deep song, really. :)

The more I watch, it keeps me remembering how he loves scarface and reminds me abit of scar from lion king with traditional mortal kombat vibes. THE BLACK FIGURES BEHIND SUGA PRESENT US THE BTS ARMY, HE BASICALLY SAYING GOODBYE TO HIS PAST BECAUSE HES READY TO MOVE ON TO A NEW CHAPTER OF HIS LIFE *Daechwita is a korean form of marching music that old armies used as they marched into battle or kingly procession; his old & current self fighting for domination. During his first mixtape he makes many references on how SUGA (stage name) kills Min Yoongi which is his true identity. Now, Agust D the raw savage side kills off the king and SUGA sits down from royalty (if i’m not mistaken, last emperor of the country). The concept/theme is a traditional dynasty where the long hair is indication of wealth and Agust D shown dressed in authentic kingly garments, It was also strongly frowned upon or forbidden anyone with scars could never be royalty but with track & music video AgustD/Suga breaks that stereotype by having a large visible scar down across his eye which expresses even people with scars can be royal on top of showing how powerful his presence is. Also regarding the scar it reminds me of kdrama Scarlet Heart: Rreyo 4th prince where he had a scar but became king despite of it.*

Nice reaction guys! Agust D is pronounced as August like the month and then D as in A B C D. He is a member of BTS rapline that produced this song and his entire mixtape 'D-2' that dropped last week. Agust D is called Suga in BTS and he produces their songs along with RM and J-Hope (the other 2 rappers). I hope you react to other Agust D works from 2016 his first mixtape was fire!

*Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. Kpop is just a label to say that everything that comes out of Korea is that (false) bts is not considered kpop because of its great repertoire of genres and that it does not follow the same line of the kpop industry.
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Jung.
4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble.
5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song.
**Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals
True that!! I like BTS music because they are real and authentic. Their messages are meaningful and they write their own music which is different from common kpop. So I'm not a kpop fan. I like music that's like BTS.

Daechwita is the name of the song. Daechwita is an old style of marching music that was associated with the King coming and going. It seems like now most people hear it for ceremonial and performance purposes with the changing of the guard.

I don't know if this was pointed out in another comment before mine, but "Daechwita" is traditional Korean marching music that was typically played when kings or royalty were moving about, important guests were visiting, or when the army marched.

I was like "what the fuck" so I watched the mic drop video to see what they are all about. Suga aka August D was the one who stood out to me. Min Yoongi is also one of the 7 members of the world famous korean group BTS, with the stage name of SUGA. His roles in BTS are also as rapper and producer.

In this MV personally it feels like the black haired Suga has Daechwita playing to announce he is there to overthrow the tyrant king/leader AKA white long haired Suga. The tyrant king is beheading anyone who presumably defies him or challenges him and displays their heads as a warning to not test him. For the white haired Suga, Daechwita is playing to further his ego as the all powerful king. With his court ministers bowing in the courtyard and many boxes filled with riches or heads the music is him celebrating his reign.

I’m sure someone else already said this but the song is called Daechwita (he said many times if you want to know how to pronounce it). The artist, Agust D, is a rapper from the group BTS his real name is Min Yoongi but his stage name/solo stage name ranges from Agust D, Suga, and Gloss. Also the person with the blond hair in the music video is the same person as the black haired Which is Agust D as you can tell, and the scene where he bumps into someone is one of his BTS group members Kim Seokjin (Jin) who then turns and fights another group member Jeon Jeongguk (Jungkook).
Suga aka Agust D is one of 3 rappers in BTS. Daechwita is from his newly released 2nd mixtape. Everything BTS do is lit! I guess that's why they are the number 1 group on the planet. Other than the Beatles, they are the only group to ever have 3 number 1 albums in a year.

The butcher and the executioner are the same guy. When Agust D makes eye contact with the butcher in the market, they're making a deal about how his 'execution' will go.
