I mean that anthem is more graphic heavy and more action gameplay based than subnautica and they had more developers that were able to put more time and effort into it than Bioware. Like so, anthen has great potential, we're just hoping we get then to push it into the right direction to have a much better game than the state of it now

I’d say he’d gain at least 10 pounds in mass, As he had only water (No soda or anything except coffee) a lot of protein and had a steady amount of healthy food options, plus had a lot of exercise as he had always been moving (I am not a professional but from my understanding that’s what I think would’ve happened
@@The-wo2lq That´s why O2 is consumed more rapidly when ur submerged in deeper places, the suit uses your oxygen to balance your pressure with the pressure outside.
If it wasn´t for this you couldnt go further than 200m ,i guess, you wouldve been smashed like a flat penny on this pressure.

Honestly, subnautica is the one game that's concept has changed so much. Not even astroneer rivals what's happened. They've gone from descend, to the early game, with terraforming and all that, they had to remove it, new areas were added, lore was added. It's such a beautiful and diverse game and i'm so proud of it.
EDIT: Don't get me wrong, i love both games. It's just subnautica's history is so interesting.

crazy to see how my favorite game of all time evolved for 6 YEARS . is all honesty, the wait was completely worth for not only full release but no below zero . thank you, unknown worlds, for knowing how to develop your game
Watching this fills me with so much joy. I remember when I first made my steam account just to buy this game in august of 2015. It's been such a long time coming. And I just recently finished replaying through it.
To see a game go through development like this and to be a part of it. It's a one of a kind experience. I'm so glad to have been part of the process.

My friend saw the aurora and went there. Died from a leviathan. They swore off the game. They also have a HUGE fear of the ocean. They had me play, and I finished the game... barely. Its still horrifying 😂

When you forget how big the reaper actually is
To see how far Unknown Worlds Entertainment has come is mind blowing. From the Subnautica that looked like Roblox game with little fauna to the game we have now with a full story and an escape. I remember playing the beta for this and I was just awstruck at the fun of seeing all the updates being pushed little by little to the scares that made me get up from my chair and take a break for 2 hours.

It’s amazing how this game started so weak but became one of the most popular games in the world, it also is cool to see that the cyclops was the first sub in this amazing game
Sadly, calling it one of the most popular games in the world is a bit of an overstatement. A big overstatement actually. As of January 2020 the game has sold just about 5 million copies, which isn't even enough to make it into top 100. I like subnautica just as much as you, but get your facts right.

@Dale Potter No. Jack played far longer than Mark, he started playing very early in development. Seán’s videos were also far more important for the game itself as the developers watched his videos to fix any glitches and other issues with the game.
They personally thanked Jack for *saving their studio from bankruptcy* as well as drawing so much attention to the game and inspiring the developers to keep going and finish the game!
As a show of thanks, he got the honour of not only being in the credits under “Special Thanks” but also having *his* quote be on advertising for the game AND on the cover of all physical copies of the game!
@@dianamaioru497 I think they were more trying to point out jack wasn't the only person to keep the studio afloat there is a reason mark and jack both have cameo items in the game. But yes jack played long before mark did and the developers chose to use jacks videos as a demo reel and improve the game by using them to patch bugs since jack liked to do stupid things "oh lets try to ram the cyclopes into a reaper. Oh I explode? Okay." not something he actually did but you get my point lol.
Imagine something like space engine, but with the actual ocean, an Atlantis exploration game, or an adventure game on the Mariana's Trench.

@@brodik6207 ...That wasn't a mod. The alien gun was official. It's part of the story. And if you're talking about the alien rifle mod, that was NOT the first mod. Not even close. The first mod was a mod that let you change the size of creatures.

@@spare7230 No, he's talking about the alien rifle you can scan inside the Quarantine Enforcement Platform. There was a mod that allowed you to craft it, and it kills leviathans in 2-3 shots.

I don't think the reaper leviathan even in Below Zero? I haven't seen it at all and I own the alpha... Maybe your thinking of the Sea Emperor? Pretty sure the Reaper isn't in Sub Zero because the climate would kill it but correct me if I'm wrong (and your in a volcanic crater but I mean who's to say their isn't a way out that may have been developed between the time of the first and second game?)

Okay I see what your talking about now, that Reaper was spawned in and I assume the reason it's so big is because it's not supposed to be in sub zero and that may just be a place holder model as you can notice it moves super slow and riot himself responds with the fact that he shouldn't be here he prefers warmer climates. The reaper leviathan isn't suited for sub zero but there could be a Sub species Leviathan class related to the Reaper Leviathan that is in Sub Zero later down the development line!

I feel like subnautica was one of the biggest successes of early access development. I remember back in the day when it'd just gone early access, I thought it looked incredible but didn't want to get my hopes up because early access projects have a habit to end up dying out.
It's awesome playing the full game now with all these memories from different stages in its development.
This should be inspiring to new game devs. The first prototypes were very simple but always added some small, manageable improvements while maintaining the overall idea of the game.

I just loved that it was an early access game that actually made it to full release and became a great game. Played too many others that fell short and dropped off the map due to devs miixing up priorities and squandering funding or resources.
This game was instant crush to me! Amazing concept, amazing art, soundtrack and everything. It was worth every penny! Thank you so much guys, I've the most happy hours on this game.

I've just started playing subnautica on ps4 when it became free around march this year and now I bought it on PC.. just seeing the development stages make it worth playing! good job! :)
This game was special. lol I started playing early access in 2014 and I still remember when all the items were placeholders and Grassy Plateau was the deepest I could go! To watch it come together over 5 years frequently coming back before finally playing the full release was something else. People would say "Hey, did you hear about the new Subnautica game?" and I'd say "Yeah! Been playing 5 years!" lmao Then I played half-way through below Zero and got bored, I de-sensitized too quickly because they over-populated the world with predators among other things.

Fun little Subnautica logic:
You have to deactivate the gun and the forcefield stops you. Than why not just go around the forcefield the 2nd time because you know the forcefield will stop you.
That's not a fun fact, that's a question. And the force field doesnt stop you, you get stabbed so it can test you to see if you have the cure. You can press the button just fine

@@soul5928 Yandere Dev is still working with stock assets and its been 6 long years. The game barely has any functionality and its a pain in the ass to run. Subnautica took 6 years because it needed them. The project ended up being one of the best survival games of all time
