Thank you so, so, so much for this, you wonderful being!!! Absolute life saver. I promised my teacher I would learn Happy Farmer and Gavotte in two weeks. Needless to say, I lost my shit when I spent one week on on the first and realised I would have needed both weeks for Gavotte! This saved me so much headache in trying to cram it all in a one-week stress-fest. Thanks for giving my practice sessions more structure. I am eternally grateful! EDIT: I smashed that subscribe button like my violin performance depended on it!
Wow what an incredible tutorial! im currently at this point in the books so i was happy to find this. Just absolutely packed with helpful information and presented with an incredibly easy to understand fashion. Tank you so much!
Thank you for your videos. I am forwarding these links to my students, during this pandemic. I am teaching online and there have been glitches in the audio, so I appreciate your expertise and clear instructions. You've been a help to my students.

Hello!! i must say if it wasn't for you i would have not being able to go as fast and deep in this first book. Almost done, will work in this last one, i guess lots of us following you here feel the same THANKS
Hi Corinne. I love your videos, they have helped me a lot, I have been studying the violin for ten months and your tips have helped me a lot. Will you create new videos with tips for the Suzuki 2? Greetings and thanks again!
Great presentation, except I wonder, "Should a Book #1 student really be playing with vibrato?" Or, are you doing it just out of habit? The mark of a good teacher is the willingness to play a student piece at the performance level that the student is expected to play, not what the teacher can play. How else is the student expected to know how their performance should sound? Violin teachers who cannot stop themselves from doing vibrato and piano teachers who cannot keep their foot off the damper pedal or stop themselves from inserting trills into such pieces as Bach's Minuet in G are typical offenders. It's one of the biggest turn offs. I've always been impressed with your earlier videos for you NOT using vibrato. Why are you doing it this time? I think it's really inappropriate at this level.
I have really learnt a lot from this. Thank you so much!
I am excited to go practice this morning. I am 68 and started a year and a half ago. working on this piece now.
