In this episode I'm showing how I use FreeCAD to make wavy patterns for MDF drawer fronts and cabinet doors. As usual, it's a parametric model, so it can easily be changed for any size of board.
This is the first episode using FreeCAD 0.22. I still have to get used to the differences, but I can say it works great.

I didn't find this to fast at all, i dislike other videos where im constantly skipping ahead. if i need to re hear something i hit space or back arrow. thanks again.

Hi.. thank you very much for your videos.. I’ve learnt many things from you. I wanted to ask you if you had ever used 3d surfacing? If yes is it normal that it takes tooo long to process the path? Furthermore have you ever used 4th axis milling?

I've used it. It is horrifyingly slow. For such jobs I use blender, I'll make a video in one or two days

Lo strumento che hai utilizzato è il disegno. Perchè il tool era da 6mm . Come funziona grazie

I've used the drawing to make the 3d model in freecad, just for reference. The toolbit can be any toolbit, as I care only where the centerline of the toolbit passes, not the actual shape. No matter if I create a custom toolbit, the path will be the same. It's just a shortcut, to avoid wasting time to create a custom toolbit which is only useful in the simulation. See my custom toolbit video, there I explain why I find it kind of useless to create custom toolbits.

Great. But now you reached the point where everything is too much too fast. Sad.

Indeed. The topics on this channel are great. However, there are no natural pauses in the presentation meaning the information just zips by without any attempt to integrate the natural chunks.

Those pauses are what I hate when watching other videos. If I am following along, I just press space, but having to skip forward constantly is more annoying. Anyway, I believe the ideal should be somewhere in the middle, so thanks for letting me know, I'll try to adjust things until I get there, maybe even upload 2 versions of each video

@@opensourcecnc - Just do it as you did in your older videos. It's that straight simple.

That's what I did, or at least I thought so. I believe the dark gray color scheme of 0.22 adds a lot to that feeling, I kind of hated it too, it's much difficult to follow things on the screen for me, too. Thanks for the feedback, it is very helpful.
