I applied in April, and just got mine in July but that is not even where the work is. Right now i will give you advice that I wish someone gave me. Make sure you start taking courses on your field of study to help your application post QTS. Go to future learn and also take safe guarding courses and cpd, also take courses to understand the English curriculum and teacher standards. That is what I am currently doing to make my job search successful. Good luck.
