me & my friends did it in 2016. that is where i finally overcame my fear of deep water, being a non-swimmer. luckily i love heights & so my favorite part of canyoneering is jumping of cliffs! the experience was unforgetable! seeing so many canyoneering vlogs now brings back memories of when we where there & did everything you guys also did. & seeing the canyon from down there in the river is just amazing! i'm glad you guys had a blast doing it, too!
Not sure if you're still in Cebu, but you should check out Osmena Peak, it's the highest peak in Cebu and is very beautiful as well.
You should try the Aguinid Falls in Samboan, Cebu. It is a 8 tier/level waterfalls where you going up not going down.
I hope Batanes is in your list in the PH.. that will be a very different experience and very different side of the PH..
Go to Siquijor, I bet you guys would love cambugahay falls and try Apo Island for sea turtles snorkeling excursion.

We were there in 2018 with my wife and friends, our guide did not tell us how physically challenging it was. As a 60-yrs old by then, it took it's toll on my nerves and determination whether or not to pursue the trek, but apparently there's no turning back once you jump into the first cliff...we made it after a few hours later and it turns out to be extremely rewarding given it's physical obstacle that we endured. I hope we could do it again while we can....

@Carreah Anne...When a tourist visits a country, they always want to maximize their trip. They always make sure they visit the best places which require less travel cost, better public transport, more varied and developed attractions, more cosmopolitan food options, better access between places, etc. I do the same when we visit another country. Most tourists have very limited time so a place with the best chances of spending less but more experiential attractions always get the top priority. So it's not practical to visit as many places as you can and exhaust yourself in the end. You can visit a single place that is loaded with many attractions which are to your liking.

When you went canyonerring and cliff jumping and at the end of the vlog, Kawasan Falls was at its majestic beauty, with the full might of water rushing down. Other recent vlogs I watched recently showed Kawasan Falls at its less majestic beauty but you are indeed blessed to have visited them at the perfect time. You are now 3 for 3 - first with the school of sardines and sea turtles at Moalboal, Cebu, second with the whale sharks at Oslob, Cebu and lastly, Kawasan Falls at its full majestic beauty at Badian, Cebu.
We have nothing to compare it too as we didn’t see it before. But it was perfect to us and one of the best days ever!! 😍😍
It’s cool to watch fellow Canadians enjoying my native Cebu adventure. I’m jealous to the max, not having done anything like this before. Can’t wait to go home.

I did all this before it got destroyed by the typhoon. It still looks very nice and fun but nowhere near as beautiful as it used to be but glad to see people visiting there. I found that the jumps looked much higher when you are the one looking down and about to do it. I like the idea of the zipline to get there and nice to see you both enjoyed it.
We have no clue how it looked before but to us it was AMAZING! So we couldn’t imagine how it looked before! 🤩 it was a adrenaline rush but it was so worth it! We had the best day ❤️

I give you an advice when you visit a country. Search for the most visited region of that country and find out the reasons why. Tourists would flock there for very obvious reasons, they enjoy it in general. In the Philippines, year after year, an average of 35% of all foreign travelers to the Philippines annually visit Cebu. In 2019, before the world tourism came to a halt in 2020, Cebu drew about 2.87 million out of the 8.26 million international visitors to the Philippines. Cebu is easy to travel via its well-developed public transport that operates 24/7 connecting you to all towns and cities within the Cebu mainland. Ferries, fast and slow alike, also operates to its smaller islands (still within Cebu province) with multiple departures. Cebu has 165 other smaller islands and islets aside from the Cebu main island where most of the white sandy beaches are found such as Malapascua, Bantayan Island group, Camotes Island group and Mactan Island group.
If that's their honest opinion and that's great but if they find something they don't like they can always voice out their opinion w/o being rude. I would rather have them voice out their opinion on something they don't like so that we can improve on it than just being respectful but doesn't really like what's happening.

Great video and way to conquer your fears. The falls used to have a bamboo raft that took you under the falls before the typhoon. The waterfall was twice the size at the end as well. Keep exploring the beautiful philippines. Each island has its on culture and adventure.
Actually, the raft was long prohibited since 2018. On our last two visits (2018 and 2021, there were no rafts already. I think it was in 2017 when the local government banned rafting activities in Kawasan due to inconvenience that they caused to the guests.
