Hello, FumeiCom! I have been meaning to let you know my admiration & thanks towards your video review of Asha in Monster World ever since at around the time of it’s original release, because of how I myself had been relatively busy with various attendances across the year of 2021, & I had wish to seek the right & free time to present you this comment of mine my friend, which I am very happy to have now discovered this opportunity!
To now let you know of my reflections, I indeed thoroughly enjoyed this video you have created, as I felt & acknowledge your passion & appreciation towards the likes of Monster World IV, Asha in Monster World, & their recent fellow entries of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom & the 2017 remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, presenting the ways of factual & personal insights that they all possess. I very much agree with your thoughts & words towards both realms of Monster World IV & Asha in Monster World. The former being a truly phenomenal experience & classic from within the Wonder Boy series (especially as an initial grand finale for the series at the time) & on the Sega Mega Drive | Genesis system, possessing the qualities of charm of a 2D platformer & plentiful elements of an early “Metroidvania” (before becoming a fully established genre variation upon the existence & release of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night). It is indeed miraculous that this one was then later released on May 2012 towards the likes of the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, & Xbox 360 (via the Sega Vintage Collection that includes the additional likes of Wonder Boy in Monster Land for the Arcade& Wonder Boy in Monster World for the Sega Mega Drive | Genesis), as it was only ever released over at Japan originally for the Sega Mega Drive in April 1994. This miracle of it’s arrival across the rest of the world is most definitely the case, such as how it bought more appearances towards many new titles within the Wonder Boy | Monster World Series, & how you & I were happily to have both first & further made our acquaintances towards the realm of Monster World IV back in this year’s May within 2021 over on Xbox, & I still strongly cherish the times I have first experienced ventured this realm with Asha & Pepelogoo, & of course the fact upon knowing how you yourself have been venturing with them as well at the same time that I have been, both towards building up with the remake version that was soon to be released around the time & how we both wish to personally witness & learn the original’s various forms of wonders that awaits, thus making our respective journeys become intertwined & all the more brighter, which is absolutely incredible; especially the thoughts & words we previously & kindly shared with one another upon the achievements we unlocked & the screenshots & videos we presented, as I do consider them to be among my most treasured memories from the journey of mine across the year of 2021.
Now as for the latter mentioned game, being the realm of Asha in Monster World, I myself have enjoyed this one as well with the ways it has to offer, both familiar & new, though I do agree with the reflections you have shown & spoken about this one my friend, including the aesthetics aspect, which I too think it would be best if it was presented for either the platforms around within the midst or later 2000s or the Nintendo 3DS, like you yourself have mentioned regarding the latter. I also believe the probability that this one was intended to be on the Nintendo 3DS, considering the game’s shift from 2D to 3D in terms of presentation, & how it utilises elements of 2.5D play in some of the areas, specifically within Rapadagna City & especially at it’s Palace, where over there it was completely redesigned in the remake to utilise this feature further, which is quite intriguing. Plus across personally venturing this on the Nintendo Switch via the handheld mode throughout the whole game, I was reminded frequently of another game that was remade from one that was fully sprite based & utilising similar intentions of a 3D presentation & additional 2.5D aspects in certain locations, & that one being the one known as “Cave Story 3D” for the Nintendo 3DS, thus making it all the more probable that the realm of Asha in Monster World would have been most suitable for that mentioned platform (especially considering how I have been visiting this one at first via portable format). It likely would have been more efficiently suited should either the presentation were to have been further enhanced for around today’s standards, or having went with beautiful hand drawn animation similar to the likes of Monster Boy & The Dragon’s Trap remake, & I even initially thought that the realm of Asha in Monster World was going for this direction, considering how the prior mentioned entries did & how particularly characterised & colourful the official artwork for this game is. Nonetheless, I have enjoyed having visited this one alongside the Nintendo Switch via the handheld mode at around the game’s release in May 2021, & later on alongside the PlayStation 5 via it’s PS4 backwards compatibility from the beginnings of August 2021 to embark on a traditional & powerful console experience, & I do not believe that I have encountered much slowdown issues or the like for the latter, but I think it may had happened in some places via the former if I vaguely recall (it could have something to do with being on the handheld play style, lol), otherwise my respective journeys went quite nicely. This realm still possess plentiful of the qualities maintained from the original game, while adding some nifty elements, such as being eligible to revisit most prior dungeons incase should one happen to miss either some life drops or to kindly pay respects to the wondrous environments & structures (I believe the prologue is an exception, which is understandable), being able to save at any place & time, though I myself do still meet & greet with The Save Sage, as I am always very thankful towards him for the times of his incredible guidance in the original Monster World IV, & I enjoy witnessing his presence & presenting Asha & Pepelogoo his admirable reflections & wishes (as well as the fact that he could possibly be my personal favourite fellow in both versions of the game, lol) & the plentiful of added voice works that I find to have been fitting & charming for the many characters, whether from Asha herself or those she becomes acquainted with.
Overall while I personally prefer the original realm of Monster World IV, which I wish to mention & acknowledge about how cool it is that it is a accompanied with the physical version of Asha in Monster World via as a download code on PlayStation 4|5 & an extra game on the same cartridge for the Nintendo Switch, I still happily appreciate the time I have embarked on towards the new realm of Asha in Monster World on both platforms I Nintendo Switch & PlayStation 5, & how I thank you very much sir for kindly informing me about the first announcement of the game since August 2020, as I had indeed felt brightened upon hearing & knowing of this game’s new existence, & especially all the more so upon first ever discovering this one from you yourself! Thus whether I visit either realm of Monster World IV or Asha in Monster World, I do think about the miracles of our acquaintances & exchanges with one another, granting a new light & treasure between these worlds & our travels. I thank you sir & the kind visitors whom have visited here for reading this message of mine in it’s entirety, as I am very glad to had seek the time to have created & shared this one here ever since the Summer of 2021. I hope that the nights & days of ours will be truly wonderful, & similar to how you sir acknowledge & mention about wishing Asha & Pepelogoo an exciting future journey together, I too think & feel about this likewise, both towards the duo & you yourself, as I very much look forward to the next time we will meet & greet again, whether across your passionately crafted videos here on UA-cam similar to your admirable review towards Asha in Monster World, or over at the additional platforms where we honourably made our acquaintances, FumeiCom! I Thank You.

After the previous remake, this was a little bit of a let down, but still pretty decent overall. Great review, keep it up!
