I love how Colm never overplays things. He's clearly a very capable and talented drummer but unlike a lot of drummers you see on UA-cam that thrive on showing off he just keeps it simple, keeps it nice and tight and just lets the songs speak for themselves

Yeah it was almost a replica of what Dave was doing in the studio. Although as a drummer myself, I think Grohl was actually adjusting his snare drum wires during recording and not fooling around with his sticks. IMO

Love this guy's drumming, one of my first inspiration to start playing drums. He is so accurate to the actual songs and you can just tell when he plays a song he feels the song as he plays it. I love it!!

If u listen to the isolated drum track there's a tid bit more tom work right towards the end of the last verse. It's hard to tell with everything. He acknowledges a floor Tom hit here but it's not quite it. Brilliant job overall. Very accurate with a hint of personal touch.
