*Visited Turks and Caicos last year and stayed at the Ritz. Aside from saying "Hey look, I'm in Turks and Caicos." I would not recommend the country to any real or experienced traveler. There is no culture and the Thursday Fish Fry is trash. The food is good (at the Ritz), but it's Western food. Four days cost me over $8k with airfare from NYC (took my girlfriend). If you've been to Morocco, Kenya, Dubai, Israel, Japan, Hong Kong, Mexico, Colombia or anywhere in Europe you will be disappointed. If you only travel to the Caribbean where everyone speaks english and you can use USD then you will enjoy Turks & Caicos*
@@Species7284 experiences are subjective! Of course it will be more expensive to pay for 2. As an experienced traveler myself, I enjoyed the island for what it was just like I try to enjoy every country. Is it the best place I’ve traveled to? No, but I enjoyed myself. Everyone will not like the same places and that’s ok. Hope you enjoy your next destination!
