As a white dude myself, I never got into trouble or anything, was friends with most of the neighborhood. People are too damn scared or overworried with fitting in with "bad" neighborhoods, but really, it's the same as living in any other urban environment, just a bit more run down.
Afro-Carribean(Hatian, Jamaican, Barbadian, etc) and Puerto Rican, Cuban and Dominican neighborhoods. Biggest demographics in Miami. Major destination for Carribean Hispanics and Blacks, NYC and Miami have the largest Carribean populations per capita
This video brought back so many memories, growing up in Miami going to Edison high school, Da west, and Dorsey, I've chilled in all these spots, Da beans, PSU, and Victory Homes, no matter where I live Miami will always be my home.

I find it interesting that people living in the 'worst hoods' drive nicer vehicles than myself. I'm happy to drive old paid off cars if that means I have a beautiful, peaceful place in the world to live, with lots of land to roam.

Wow you drove through the Pork and Beans projects several times, be careful, the 305 hoods don't mess around. I made that mistake once by taking the backroads of Miami to get onto the Turnpike at 2 AM. Needless to say, it wasn't the safest drive.

I went to Miami a couple months ago before this corona mess..we were staying on the Miami River and I decided I needed to go to the store late our first night there..having never been there before we just got in the car and started driving around..I remember some of these places your driving by..I realized pretty quick it was a good idea to get out of there..I loved Miami though..Florida has always been my favorite place to travel to

I left Miami after I got shot and my friend I was with was killed, we got off the wrong exit in downtown and got lost, when we stop to turn around all hell broke loose, they ran up on both sides of my car and I tried to take off they opened fire, I was hit in the right back of my shoulder and my friend was shot in the head, he died instantly. Never again do I drive to downtown Miami and I grew up there for over 40 years.

Miami seemed the most dangerous overall. Surprisingly, Orlando was actually a pretty close second, then Jacksonville. Also the worst looking part of Orlando looked just as bad as Miami, but Miami has more widespread ghetto areas. Jacksonville would be third in this category too. Almost forgot, that area of Belle Glade actually looked the worst, but not as dangerous as those 3 cities.

CharlieBo313 Florida has a lot of hoods bro. Eatonville Florida is the oldest black founded municipality in the United States. Founded by black settlers in 1887. It’s on the outskirts of Orlando. We have the oldest black cities and towns in the country. St. Augustine is the oldest city in America and still mostly black today.
Miami Dade county has 40 or 45 cities.. can’t put Miami in 1 category

at 2:17 are some new apartment buildings they just put up .. they tore down a bunch of hoods over there and are put nice modern apartments up over there .. its crazy .. Im all for it but damn that's memories gone
I worked this area for 5 years. Gun shots and crazy shit all the time. Kinda miss it, you meet a ton of characters in liberty city at 2-6 am.
