Vintage Baseball at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site

The glove-less game with wooden bats plays by very different rules--those from 1867! Watch staff and volunteers recreate a match game, playing by the rules established in the 1860s at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, WA. Volunteers representing the First Oregon Volunteer Infantry's team--the Sherman Base Ball Club--challenged the Vancouver town team--the Occidental Base Ball Club-- on the historic Parade Ground.
