Amy McLean - Super Ink Arts Thanks Amy. I appreciate you checking out my video. I’ll definitely pop over to your channel later as it looks like we’ve got some shared interests.
LA X DRAY no. What you saw in the video is what I have. I love the movies but the movie-based figures didn’t feel necessary. I feel the same about Marvel Legends; I’d rather comic figures than MCU figures.
I don’t think I lost anything. If he’s missing an accessory it’s probably in my spare parts bin. That whole Hellboy movie was kinda cringe but I still enjoyed it. I recall liking THC as Lobster Johnson.
Jboy Jim My local comic shop just got the Hellboy in for $140. I’m not sure whether I should pull the trigger on these. They look great but could get expensive.
Jboy Jim I might get it but price wise it’s about the same. BBTS is selling it for $105 but once you factor in shipping and conversion to Canadian funds (+30%) it’s probably even more expensive.
One Abe is not a "sidekick" second sorry to burst your bubble but that is not "the first hellboy figure " and last the pops in the back it is a dumdass move to not keep them in box's learn your facts otherwise very well done collection I have those ones I recommend to weather your hellboys jacket take the jacket off then use nail polish remover and brown and light gray paint mix it together and then dab it on lightly.
Dollectors Domain Hey man. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Your comment is an interesting blend of hostile and helpful. Let me address your points: One, I love Abe and meant him no disrespect but I think he fits the definition of a sidekick. He’s the associate of Hellboy who is of more importance. If you disagree that Hellboy is more important we can debate that later. Two, I don’t claim to be a toy guru but as far as I know it’s the first. If not, what is? Three, I collect because I like toys, not to make a buck. I know some are worth money sealed but I don’t ever plan to sell them so who cares. Thanks again.
@@Hylandboy1 well the first hellboy is kinda a peace of shit that came with the first book seeds if destruction and second I apologise I came if as a ass I respect that you aren't like many that just want a buck I have to admit Abe does have the mentality of a sidekick but sense the nine issues shine upon some light to the point as him being a a stand alone character like taking the subject of Robin Richard/Dick Grayson becoming Nightwing I honestly think it would be a interesting conversation to debate.

@@Hylandboy1 I wrote it bad ;) I meant the action figures from Mezco Comic series. Comic is one of my favorites, bprd too, I have all the stories in several versions, also in the library edition. Coming back to the figurines, I already have three from the series. Abe Sapien is just "sailing" to me from England to Poland ;)
@@zerocochrane1713 nice. I remember when they were all available at my local comic shop back in the day. I don’t know why I didn’t buy them at the time. I’d love a Mezco Hellboy and a Kreigaffe.
@@Hylandboy1 lucky. No one has ever sold such figures in my country stationary, at that time. We had only one mail-order store that imported figurines from the USA. Kreigaffe it's very expensive now from what i saw on ebay, i'm unlikely to ever buy it.
Abe's spear must be brittle, mine is broken at the tip even with pretty minimal handling. Love those old Mezco figures though, have you picked up any of the 1000toys figures?
I’ve definitely been tempted to pick up the 1000toys figures (my local comic shop has HB on display) but the price for a 6” figure is a little tough to swallow.
@@Hylandboy1 You may have seen but Dark Horse Direct had the exclusive Abe (the one that comes with Rasputin) on sale for black friday. I wouldn't be surprised if goes on sale again. I passed on him at first but the Ras version pushed me over the edge haha.

Great video, subbed.
Don't forget the 1000 toys Lobster Jhonson prototype looks fantastic.
Zeno Smith Thanks Zeno. I haven’t seen the lobster Johnson. I’ll have to check it out.
Can you give me the exact height of each figure in inches? I want to know if they’ll fit in the new bellboy figures from 1000toys.
I always wanted to get the comicbook figures, your collection is great
NIGROMANT ART Thanks man. The comic book figures are excellent. I hope to add Roger to my collection one day.
If you like comic book accurate hellboy figures you should check out the 1000 toys hellboy and abe figures
I’ve seen them and they look incredible but they’re awfully pricey for 6” figures.
I love the movie version of Abe they all look cool

You should pick up Rasputin, I loved the book I would recommend it since I don’t think you have it.
doapy walrus I do have it and enjoyed it. The Mignolaverse has never let me down. Thanks for the recommendation though.
Thomas Hayden Church was cringe as Lobster Johnson. How did you lose the 1911 he came with? He has a gun holster…

I always liked the addition of a cloth jacket on that first figure. my big porblem was he was sooo top heavy
Andrew Vaughan That’s true. The knees have gotten looser over the years as well which makes it even tougher to keep him standing.
1000 toys is making a Abe sapient figure. It looks awesome

It’ll only go up in value
