Even at low levels if you commit to the principle of not harming your team with walls you can turn the whole game around. Her wall is overpowered in the jungle and for river objectives.
I love anivia. So much skill expression. So unique. Character is so cool. I hope riot gives her a bit of love without nerfing her hard since she’s kinda op….
I prefer boots/approach velocity for my secondary runes to help with her lack of mobility. I also like to get at least one health item like RoA or Liandry's. I often do tear, RoA, malignance and then finish Archangels fitting boots in there somewhere. Dark seal is great on Anivia too since your passive often keeps you alive to preserve stacks. Her wall is really satisfying in teamfights when you cut their team in half or force them to walk into your Q.
Anivia main here, against melee champs I like cull to poke them with autos and get my 2 item spike faster. When I play drunk I take DBlade for last hitting and sustain :D When I’m focused and don’t miss minions I start Tear for item tempo. Doran’s Ring is nice, but still not enough mana to use many spells and it slows down the item curve too much to impact the game, at least in my elo where people Aram all the time
Farming waves with Anivia ult means you don’t get cannon. I didn’t make the rules. Could honestly need a quality of life change as playing Anivia is already a pain
