Thank you for your vlog about how to connect mixer, equalizer, cross over and amplifier tutorial vlog it's difficult to have a wonderful connect ion.thank you again for your vlog brother.
Woww...just wow. With so little you have managed to deliver sir. Very important video you just shared. I am starting a PA System and i have been looking for such. Didn't know the use of the cross over until now.
Crossover is basically meant to separate the signal into dedicated frequency ranges for different speakers. In digital realm you can achieve very similar results sending your LR signal into Matrixes and filtering the sound in dedicated EQs. For example, using a low pass filter at 90-100 Hz separate the lows and send them separately into the Subs, then using high pass filter at the same frequency on a different Matrix and send the rest into the Tops...also, it could be done in more detail and separate the mids and the highs too, but it depends heavily on what speakers you are using, what inputs you have and all that jazz.
No he's not a good teacher. He should have everything he needs to teach read to be shown for a how to do. Good teachers will set up display ALL the items of a subject before properly and not with a camera to make a person feel dizzy. Not that it made Me feel dizzy, but his camera is not steady. All that equipment and no tripod/other for his phone? That IS NOT a really good teacher.
This is the best explanation that I ve seen.very clear and very precise. Well done.can you do a tutorial on outputs on a mixer.explain where each outputs lead to.
Thanks for the video, well explained. My question is, how do you connect an Equalizer to a crossover if you are using two amplifiers, one amplifier for mid-speakers and the other amplifier mainly for subspeakers.
Depending on the number of speakers if you just have a sub speaker and a full range I think you might need to do one channel for sub from mixer to equalizer then to crossover and to one side on ur amplifier for the sub and then do the same for the full range which I believe is still somehow so you need to ascertain ur number of speakers also How many speakers do you have
@@nk-moza yes you can. Just connect signal cables from mixer to the crossover then from crossover to amplifier. Actually what really needs to pass through the crossover in such a setup is the signal you intend to send to your subs
Thank you for this... Using this connection how many full range speakers can you power with this? And what if you need to have separate control for stage monitors and main house
good explanations, on how to set up. the only thing I would do differently is plug power leads into equipment first and switch them off in case of sudden power surges.?
question..could I also put a compressor in the chain? where would it go? perhaps before the EQ? also could the EQ and the compressor go in the left and right inserts?
Just what I needed. Thank you so much sir for this. I do have one question though. How can you put the sub in one channel and mid in another in a left and right (stereo connection?)
Yes. But the best EQ to do that is the Behringer ultragraph coz it has an option for the cross over at the back. So, you can connect your sub signal from there.
Immediately after the mixer , insert a y cable , one side stereo in the insert input on the mixer ..then the 2 mono Jack's on the y cable on the out put and the input from the compressor..I'll do a video soon

Thank you so much Decibel Audio, this is the best tutorial I've watch on this subject.
That's so educative. ....and what about adding others like the bass enhancer and the compressor. ...please I need a video on that too...

How many speakers do you have
what's the watts of peavey cs 4000?
2000 watts (rms) per channel at 2 ohms
1350 watts (rms) per channel at 4 ohms
800 watts per channel at 8 ohms
4000 watts at 4 ohms bridged
How much is the cs 4000
Excellent video for me as a bigginers👍👍👍

Much love bro
BOUGHT THIS CROOSOVER AT BAMBURI 3 DAYS AGO THANKS TO YOU
merci pour les explications
I like it, bro...
This is very important for some of us who are still learning
asante... I've never used an equilizer in a sound system but I sure know the goodness of having a crossover especially for the subs
so does it mean you can still setup like that but eliminate the equalizer and still have good sound?
@@nk-moza yes you can. Just connect signal cables from mixer to the crossover then from crossover to amplifier. Actually what really needs to pass through the crossover in such a setup is the signal you intend to send to your subs
Good and clear explanation of using both the EQ and xover thank,s bro i appreciate your video, support for newbies.

Very nice sounds ser.good job..
How much for the whole set
Good informative video. ...
Nice explanation
Perfectly well said. Thank you.
How can I balance a microphone with a good equalizer and crossover
That set up manipulate the pure sound & creates unclean signals, increasing unwanted frequencies going to the amplifier. But it works!
Thanks bro this is very educative
Akkuna matata bro from india😊
Hahaha hakuna matata
Thank you so much Sir for you teaching us...
You are a good teacher
I have watched so many videos but I haven't seen a video that explains the way this one does.
Thank you so much for this video. It really helped me.
This is very educative and helpful. Can one bypass the amplifier if he is using the active speaker?
Good one
Awesome explanation...thank you..
This is a great video indeed.... if i may ask... is it possible to setup like that but remove the equalizer. I have 2 EVO X215 full range speakers.
Yes very much possible
Thank you so much. You make it so simple
Very good job and very, very, neat and clean explain nice vodeo bro
Amazing video and sound systems
good explanations, on how to set up. the only thing I would do differently is plug power leads into equipment first and switch them off in case of sudden power surges.?
Nice tutorial. On the output results the mid was to high. That was noise to me. I recommend reducing the mid volume from the power amp
Do you add a mini hum eliminator in that settings too?
like the other brothers said short sweet simple cleared up lots of things for me thank you!!!
one love from Namibia 🎉
Great explanation
Your lessons are helpful you got 5star for that.
Thank you glad they are helpful
You are only using one amplifier in this setup?
How much do you sell that Peavey 4000
One love from Sierra leone 🇸🇱

Good job bro..
Can an equiliser be used on a powered mixed with a crossover connections?
Waoo that is great 🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿❤️❤️
Mono leads or stereo leads
Good work bro, need to know the name of the song that your testing with, it has really blessed me.
question..could I also put a compressor in the chain? where would it go? perhaps before the EQ? also could the EQ and the compressor go in the left and right inserts?
Just what I needed. Thank you so much sir for this. I do have one question though. How can you put the sub in one channel and mid in another in a left and right (stereo connection?)

Yes. But the best EQ to do that is the Behringer ultragraph coz it has an option for the cross over at the back. So, you can connect your sub signal from there.
@@philemonbarasa okay thanks.
Great work
Good work can you Doo connecting more than 2 amplifier or three which femalee will you usee
very good for me as a beginner in sound production
Glad to hear that!
Nice, where I connect a dbx 266xs compressor/Gate
Immediately after the mixer , insert a y cable , one side stereo in the insert input on the mixer ..then the 2 mono Jack's on the y cable on the out put and the input from the compressor..I'll do a video soon
@@decibelaudiokenya Great, still looking out for video
