It's strange to me how cold and hard so many ppl have become to the point that when they meet a person of good breeding, who is kind and truly altruistc, to a point, their minds cannot accept it as a reality. It takes great strength in fact, and a lot of patience.
Being raised in the South, our families taught us how to be ladies, the older women taught the young girls proper etiquette in all things, how to be good wives and companions if they so choose to.(It doesnt mean, of course, we all were perfect all the time lol, but we know how to behave in public, and how to cut ppl to the bone with only our words, and a smile)
Kindness is to really care about others even when you do not have to, even when they reject your kindness, don't appreciate it, be kind anyway, smile anyway, then excuse yourself and move on. (and then scream in the bathroom privately, works for me, lol). Allow them to reflect on their own shadows, then perhaps come to their senses hopefully. If not its on them, not you.
