Thank you so much for taking me back to Broome. It has been 33 years since we visited in our way from NT through to live in Karratha for five years. We are now living in Townsville Qld.
I've been to Broome twice back in 2006 and 2008. I still remember going to the beach in our SUV and then got stuck in the sand while the high tide was coming in. We had to ask for help to be towed quickly LOL.
I lived in Broome w.a and I used go surfing at cable beach on weekends and up to Broome boulevard shopping centre and up to sea view shopping centre where I once worked
Would love to go one day..many yg men from my village came broome in the 50s..60s to work in the pearl diving companies...made settled and died there including a cousin of mine
Ahhhhh lovely Broome. A really nice place to visit for all kinds of reasons but heaven if you've been clocking up the miles, sleeping rough and had enough of camp cooking. I well recall Mato's brewery, sitting on the veranda sipping cold beers and taking-in the view. Their mango beer was surprisingly good or so I told myself.. Broome is The Place to rest-up, enjoy good food, relaxation and meet fun people.
Nice one Danny. If I was 30 years younger, I'd be into all that, but I am an old school doco style videographer. I love what you have done, and will have a look art the rest of your channel. This channel covers many of the clips of places in Oz that weren't included on my DVDs. Travel safe my friend.
Hi I haven’t been to Broome since 1976 there was a strike and we all shot up to sleepy Broome slept on the beach and could only buy 1 carton of beer a day
Thank you. Just had a look at your vid. Nice. My drone (P2P) decided to go feral and destroyed itself. Despite the opportunity for great aerial footage, I won't be "investing" in another one. Keep up the good work.
We had used it across the Nullarbor filming the Trans Australian Railway DVD, and all was good. I didn't fly it for the fun of it, it was a flying camera. I had used it in Albany to do some photography, and 25 minutes later, went thru the processes, sent it up and it just took off, and didn't respond to anything I did. I found it using the GPS signal a couple of hours later with a bent gimbal ... too expensive to try and repair, so that was that.
Please anyone who lives there' I am looking for Matt Spencer a white boats captain who is 50yrs old and we lost touch so please if anyone knows how I can find him' I'm Scottish! Thanks
